Christian watched the Leclitra soldiers arriving to the front entrance of his and his army's camp. He was thankful that the fairies were on his side. That made his men at least have a chance against The Dragon King who did not need to have so much of an army to fight the human army.

Christian rode out on a white horse. He wore armour and had his sword Solderà forged in a dragon's breath in his hand. Behind him, his army stood ready to fight alongside the army of the Leclitras. He turned towards his army. "Today we face something our people hasn't faced for many millions of years!," he began his speech, "We will face fire, death and darkness! But we will not fall! Not this day! Because we are not evil! And this day! This day we fight!," The army cheered, but they were soon interrupted by the shrieking of a dragon. On the other side of the field, Reyna landed on the ground on the giant Fire Dragon Nagendra. The fairies did not back down but instead took out their wings and weapons. Christian turned towards his army. "For the love of Westrose and Chandara!," he yelled and the battle begun.

As the battle played out, the soldiers of Westrose shot arrows at the dragons that flew in the air above and shot fire towards the human army and fairies.
Gwydion stepped forward angrily. "O drako! Hëmerta elgro satair!," The smaller dragons that had been on their ways to attack Christian immediately flew away in fear for the wizard.

Reyna flew over the battlefield when an iron arrow flew by her and Nagendra, causing the dragon to panic and plunge down onto the ground. Reyna fell off Nagendra and hit the ground and let out a small cry of pain. She looked towards Nagendra who was struggling to get up but to no avail. Reyna backed in fear as three of Christian's soldiers raised their swords towards the Dragon Princess. Reyna looked up at them pleadingly when Keegan suddenly, stuck his sword through the Westrose soldiers and helped his daughter up and they started to run.

They continued fighting against the Westrose soldiers. But Keegan soon started receiving many injuries from the Westrose soldiers who took advantage of the weakened Dragon King. Reyna could only continue fighting by her Father's side while watching him protecting her with his life. Soon, the Westrose soldiers around them were all dead. Keegan turned towards his daughter and Reyna looked towards her Father with tears welling up in her eyes. Keegan fell to the ground onto his back, breathing unevenly. Reyna sat by her Father's side and looked down at him, crying, sobbing. Keegan's eyes suddenly became blank and he died. Reyna leaned her forehead against her Father's lifeless chest, crying. Nagendra landed behind his Princess, now Queen. And the dragon lay down faithfully behind Reyna.

Christian run through the battlefield, searching for his son, praying that he wouldn't find his son's body in the slaughter of his burned soldiers that Keegan had killed with his dragons. "Father!," Christian immediately looked up as he heard the loud voice of his son. He smiled in relief as he saw Aranel come running with Harmony by his side. "My son!," Christian said with relief. Aranel hugged his Father and Christian surprisingly hugged Harmony. "I'm glad you're both alright," he said softly. Aranel looked up at his Father. "Is mother?," he began. Christian smiled softly. "Your Mother is fine. She's with Gwydion, Dimitri and the knights," he explained. Aranel nodded and they left to go back to Adelina and the others.

When the battle had finally calmed down, Nerida looked around worriedly. Christian couldn't almost believe that his people had become involved in this worthless war. He actually hoped that The Dragon King Keegan and Princess Reyna had manage to survive. Nerida turned towards her husband and walked over to Christian. "We should see if we can find Keegan and Reyna," The Fairy Queen said. Christian nodded in agreement. "We'll search the field. They must be here somewhere. If they are dead, they deserve a proper burial like the rest of mine and your people who has died fighting in this awful war," he explained. Nerida nodded sadly and they left in hope to find Keegan and Reyna.

It was when they had walked through the field for a while, Nerida started hearing the sounds of crying and sobbing. She and Airon took a few steps closer to the sounds. Everyone stopped abruptly when Nagendra raised his head angrily and growled angrily towards them. Gwydion looked in concern towards the dragon who looked towards the wizard and let out a whimper in sadness and turned down towards something that was laying in the shadows of him. It was where the crying came from. Nerida took a step closer and felt her heart break out in sadness as she saw Reyna sitting by Keegan's side, with her forehead against her Father's chest, crying. Nagendra looked pleadingly towards Gwydion and then the Fairy Queen. Nerida carefully walked over to Reyna and knelt by her side. "My child," she spoke softly. She carefully pulled the Dragon Princess, now the young Dragon Queen into her arms and held her tightly as Reyna continued to cry. Gwydion gently stroked Nagendra's neck and the dragon raised itself and cried out loudly into the sky. It was a cry of pain and sadness. And a message to the other dragons that their Father and King was dead. Christian hugged his wife. The war was over but the battle had just begun.
