Christian entered in his and Adelina's chambers where the servant just was finishing preparing for his and Adelina's dinner. Now when a month had passed since the battle of Dragola, he wanted to do something special for his and his wife's anniversary. The servant gave her King a gentle smile. "The dinner is ready, Sire," she informed and curtsied. Christian smiled softly towards the lady. "Thank you, Fiadorna. You may go," he said and the Lady curtsied and left the chambers.
Christian and Adelina sat down at their table. Christian on the right edge of the table and Adelina on the right side beside him. They filled their plates and started eating. Christian raised his glass and faced his wife. "To us," he smiled. Adelina smiled softly back and raised her glass. "To us," she said and they cling their glasses and drank some of their wine. Christian put down his glass and then started feeling strange. Adelina looked at Christian in concern. "Christian, what is it?," she said worriedly. Christian then collapsed in his chair and Adelina stood up in panic and hurried over to her husband. "Christian!," she exclaimed worriedly. She then turned towards the doors. "Guards!," she yelled, "The King has been poisoned!,"
Gwydion hurried through the corridors towards Adelina's and Christian's chambers after hearing Adelina's loud scream and he bursted the doors open into the chambers. He looked in shock and worry towards Adelina who sat by Christian's side who sat laying on his chair, collapsed with Adelina by his side, crying. He made his way over to the Queen. Adelina looked up crying at the wizard. "Please... Save him...," she begged. Her words only left Gwydion and shock and worry as he continued standing frozen a bit from her.
Christian lay unconscious in his and Adelina's bed in their chambers. Adelina placed a wet cloth upon Christian's feverish forehead, behind her stood Gwydion and The physician Helena. "Oh, Christian... I know you don't believe it yourself sometimes... But I know you'll be the greatest King Westrose and Chandara has ever known. And I love you with all my heart. Please, don't leave me," Aranel suddenly stormed into the chambers in worry. "Mother, what happened?," he asked worriedly. Adelina stood up and walked over to her son. "Your Father has been poisoned. Gwydion is doing everything he can to help him," she explained. Aranel swallowed and looked up at his mother. "Is Father gonna be alright?," he asked. Gwydion didn't know how to answer that question. The poison was so deep within Christian. But he knew he had to be able to cure him. He was the most powerful wizard to ever walk on earth after his ancestor Emersion Darkeast. He had to be able to cure him. It was his destiny to protect him and help him become The Greatest King Westrose and Chandara has ever known. Gwydion moved his hand over Christian. "Décorat exoletsis!," he pronounced. Christian's heart had nearly stopped and Adelina felt tears welling up in her eyes. "Décorat exoletsis!," Gwydion pronounced loudly. Gwydion took away his hands and wiped away his tears. Christian then made a grimace and turned in the bed. "Oh... Adelina," he mumbled. The Physician Helena who had been by Gwydion's side and supported him turned towards him. "Well done, young wizard!," she prised and they hugged each other tightly.
Christian woke up a few hours later and gently turned his head. He smiled softly towards his wife who sat by his bedside. "How long have you been sitting here?," he asked weakly. Adelina smiled softly and kissed his forehead. "It's best you don't know," she explained. Christian looked up at her. "While I was unconscious... I could hear you talking to me," he began. Adelina shook her head. "You were dying... I...," she stuttered. "Adelina...," Christian said softly in a warning and weakly grabbed her hand. Adelina turned towards him and smiled. She softly leaned down and kissed him on the lips. "Get some rest," she instructed and left their chambers, closing the doors behind her. Christian smiled softly for himself.
Elderon and Rachel stood in the weapon room, gathering their things for another Demon Hunt. Rachel looked up at her brother in concern. "You okay?," she questioned. Elderon shrugged. "Yeah," he answered simply. Rachel gave her brother a look. "If this is about Gwydion," she began. Elderon turned towards his sister. "He's my Bounded Sibling, Rachel," he began, "I know when something's wrong with him. We share strength, emotion, pain. Through our bound we are both physically and emotionally connected. And I know something has happened! I feel it!," Rachel nodded. "Okay," she said, "I'll tell Mother and Father that we leave now," And she began to turn around and leave when she turned around abruptly. "Elderon, you can't keep blowing up things. It's only a matter of time before they explode," she warned. Elderon looked at her and grabbed his bow and quiver. "Come on," And he left and Rachel sighed deeply.
In the dark in a cave, a shadow watched Christian and Adelina. It later waved its hand to see Harmony and Aranel. "Oh, dear Harmony! Your battle has just begun," the shadow spoke in a male voice and laughed wickedly.
