Chapter 5
'Help Me Theo You're My Only Hope' ~ Percy Jackson
Theo POV

It had been two days since Percy's parentage had been revealed, and I was still beyond mad.
7 long years I waited. 7 long freaking years, I wait as various demigods come and get claimed and spend time with their proper siblings while knowing who their godly parent was.
Then when Percy rocked up, I 100% thought that I would definitely get claimed before him, but nooooooo less than a week of him being here, he gets claimed by a god.
Not any god, mind you.
Poseidon, the freaking god of the sea. One of the big three. Not only does he get a godly parent, but he gets one of the bloody three, which makes him super powerful and one of the most dangerous demigods alive.
Anyway, back to reality, I was in the archery range, taking my anger out on the targets, each one after the other hit with a bullseye. I wanted to be alone. Too bad Annabeth had other ideas.
"Theo!" Annabeth shouted, walking down the pathway that led to the archery range. She stumbled on a tree root and swore in Greek as I shot another bullseye, not answering her.
"Theo!" she shouted again, and this time, I turned to face her.
"What do you want?"
Annabeth stopped in front of me with her hands on her hips with her grey eyes staring into my soul.
"What's up with you?"
I shrugged; truth be told, I was in a depressed mood. I didn't hang out with Percy or Annabeth anymore; I didn't really talk anymore unless it was absolutely necessary. I waited until everyone was gone before I ate; I didn't show up to any of my 'lessons', and I was the first one in bed when it came time.
Annabeth grabbed my limp hand and squeezed it comfortably, her eyes now filled with concern. "Theo, you know I hate seeing you like this. Please just talk to me."
