Sweat dripped down Theo's face as he thrusted upwards. The bar in his hands exited the groove before shooting up and entering the next one. Only two more to go, Theo thought to himself as he groaned once more before thrusting up again.
Finally, he got to the top of the shelf before swaying back and forth off the bar before letting go and flung himself onto the next part of the course, the monkey bars. Slowly but surely, Theo manoeuvred himself under the bars holding on for dear life as the roar of a waterfall raged underneath him.
Theo got to the last rung, and just like with the last obstacle, Theo swung his body enough times to eventually be able to propel himself through the air and land on the first of many ropes.
Theo's arms strained as he grabbed ahold of the next rope before transferring his weight onto his one arm and the rope itself, as he pulled himself onto that rope before doing the exact same thing with the next two ropes.
Finally, Theo had gotten to the last obstacle on this course. Theo's arms felt like jelly, and every part of him felt like quitting, but he really didn't feel like taking a swim in the waterfall that he had stumbled across in the camp's forest.
In the last course, all Theo had to do was use the two batons that were mounted on the wall and use them to support his weight as he shifted across. Was it hard? Yes, because he only had two batons, and he had to pull one out and plug it with another hole further down the wall while holding onto the one plug he left in the wall. Oh, also, he was suspended with nothing below him.
Theo grabbed hold of both the batons and slowly let his lower half fall, before he pushed his core up to the point that it looked like Theo was a dangling mantis. Gritting his teeth, he pulled out the first baton and plugged it back in a hole, which was as far away as Theo's wingspan could manage, before he grabbed onto that one and pulled the other plug out.
Theo did that about 5 or 6 times before he reached the end of the board, all he had to do was grab hold of the ladder, and he was done with this hellish course. Theo flung himself to the ladder and almost fell off it because of how slippery it was, but he managed to hold on as he shimmed himself down the ladder and collapsed onto the floor.
