Chapter 10 ; just hanging around

Remy pov.

You know when I said hanging around I thought it would be fun and cool but believe me it isn't .

Every time someone would pass by I would turn my head so nobody could actually see the cut on my face .

But luckily for me almost no body walked by . Except for Neville long bottom.

I'm quite surprised that there no professors around , normally they would be split up two by two and tell every kid who was "chilling" in the hallway that they needed to do something useful instead of being lazy on a Saturday afternoon .

Except for snape you really don't want to pass him in an empty hallway he keeps staring at you with that emotionless look until you were around the corner .

He's creepy.

I was too hard in thought that I didn't realise that there were people rounding the corner .

'Miss black ?'

Mconagaill's voice rang through my ears as my head shot up showing a little of my scar . Such a bad move.

'Uh yes professor? ' I noticed lupin was next to her looking at the little piece of scar that was showing.

'What are you doing in the hallways by yourself on a Saturday?'

'Ohh nothing professor just hanging around a little .'

'You forgot the password didn't you ?'

'Well m-'

'I can escort her back to her common room if she'd like '

Lupins voice said in a caring voice .mcconagaill nodded and smiled . 'Now off you go'

Lupin sighed as mcconagaill rounded the corner . He immediately took my face in his hands and began to inspect it closely .

'I'm fine '

He didn't believe me . 'Were going to Madame promfey first then I'll escort you to you're common room '

I sighed knowing that he was right . 'She'll probably give me a nasty drink ' I murmured under my breath but somehow he still heard .

A smile formed on his face , which was the first time I saw properly.

'But you'll feel better after it '

'Anyway how'd you get that cut ?'

I furrowed my eyebrows together in confusion as I tried to remember . 'I d-don't really k-know ' I stuttered , confused .

He place his arm round my shoulder protectively and shooed me . 'It doesn't matter think about it later first we need to heal that cut '

The arm who rested on my shoulder gave me a save feeling his cologne invited me in like a baby cuddled into his mother .

I ignored the feeling and looked at his face , he too had bruises all over his face but if you wouldn't especially look for it you wouldn't have found them .

'Are you alright ?' He asked concern filled his voice almost like a mother.

'Yes , just a little dizzy but that'll go away soon ' I hope . I added in my mind .

'We're almost there '

'I'm tired ' I said before I finally gave in and leaned into his arms feeling my eyelids drop close .

'You can sleep there ' he sounded amused that I was sleeping and walking at the same time .

But if it wasn't for him I would have fell to the ground and have another nasty bruise .

'Sleep tight Jamy'

Jamy?

I just let it go and stopped fighting against sleep.

I snuggled happily into his arms as I fell asleep.

Surprise ! Twice in one day!!
