Chapter 12 : madame promfey prt 2

James .

'I'm fine guys ' I said almost choking as they clung onto me so tightly.

'Have you any idea how worried I was! I thought I lost my only Girly frend!'

Hermoine screeched , making me smile a little . It's always nice to know that someone cares about you .

'I'm sorry I've worried you guys ..I had a fight with Malfoy an ran into the woods and...I guess I fell asleep there ' I whispered knowing that I still wore the curse Draco used on me which was terrifying to know that it could strike in any second .

The spell he used is like a ticking time bomb , it remains silent until it activates and explodes . Well of course i wouldn't really explode , the feeling you get is unexplainable . It's like someone will break you're bones one by one , I've heard someone say that if you wanted to lessen the pain 

'James?'

'Euh yeah?' I said snapping out of my daydreaming , I noticed that Hermione was dragging me out of the common room , towards our part of the girls dorm .

'You haven't listened to anything I said did you?'

I blushed embarrassed and gave her a small smile . She just rolled her eyes and dropped herself on her bed with a loud sigh .

She laid on her stomach as she leaned her head on her hands before looking at me .

I sat down on my be as I undid my shoe's . As much respect I have for Hogwarts I need to admit that the uniforms aren't really stylish .

I picked a pair of black skinny jeans and a blue tank top before dissepearing into the bathroom , quickly taking a shower before dressing myself in the clothes I just picked .

I brushed through my knotted hair as I murmured a spell to dry my hair and stepped out of the bathroom .

'I know you saw.'Hermoine said .

'Saw what?'

'Never mind ....'

'No tell me ... What did I see?'

'The grim .. I saw you coming from that tree ...anyway what were you doing in there?'

I was completely stunned , how come that I didn't notice her ? 'W-what?'

'I saw you coming from that tree this morning what were you doing in there?'

'I could ask you the same -thing' my voice didn't came out as confident as I wanted .

'I was studying '

'Outside?'

'Yes , an now it's you're turn . What were you doing in there ?'

'I-euhh.-'

Smooth James really smooth.

'-after I had that fight with m-Malfoy I kinda tripped over s-something and there was this opening in the tree , I wanted to take a better look of what was inside and I fell in and blacked out'

Hermoine studied me , probably to make sure I wasn't lying to her . I was trying not to let the lie get to me , it's not that I never lied to someone but I hate it to lie to my friends , it feels like I was betraying them.

'So what have you been up to lately ?'

She was a little caught of guard when I asked her that . 'Nothing '

I sighed and leaned against the wall .

'What's gotten into you ? Where is the happy Remy I used to know ? Every time someone gets near you you just shut them off! Don't you know were just trying to help?! ' Hermione was standing straight up and gave me a worry but stern look.

'I'm not sh-'

'Yes you do ! You're always shutting me Harry or Ron off ! '

'I'm not! Can't I have my own secrets without having to explain them? I have secrets that you rather not know about! I don't even know how to handle them Hermione! '

'Then let us help you .'

'I rather not do that , if I can't handle them then you surly can't , I'm sorry Hermione .'

'Yeah sure , let me know when you're ready to share them . ' she snapped at me before leaving the girls dorm.

Leaving me standing here alone , shocked.
