Baji genuinely didn't have the foggiest idea how it turned out this way. After all his hardwork, he thought he would atleast score a decent average mark, yet things didn't turn out his way.

He lifted his glasses up to check whether he was fantasizing or he really got a 62 out of hundred. Be that as it may, the numbers on his test paper were same.

His brain out of nowhere helped to remember his mother's angry face which send a shiver down his spine. He gulped while sweat dropping.

"Hey Kei, how much did you score?" He took a look at his crus-erm...best best friend and opened his mouth however again shut it because he thought it would be humiliating for you to know his marks.

Face palming, you took a gander at the raven-haired kid with an addled look pondering your face. "Kei, did you fail once again?"

His eyes widened after hearing your words. There's no way he had fail again, he got a 62. Atleast, it was three numbers more than the failing marks. His mouth suddenly opened and denied your statement.

"Ofcourse not, I got a 62. I didn't fail but..."-He looked down and again got reminisced about his mother's tight slap and her crying face.

All his negative thoughts were gone when he abruptly felt soft and warm hands on both if his shoulders. He looked up and saw you holding his shoulders with a cute and beautiful smile.

A blush spread on his face, followed by his stomach churning. He tried to avoid it but to no avail. "That's amazing, you have passed."-You said and then held one of his hands. It made his current status more worse as his face was becoming more and more red.

"H-how is that amazing? I should have got a 70 maybe." You giggled and said "You know, you have done a great job this time, you had worked really hard and if you think that your mom will be mad at you, I swear it will be like that."

Yours words made him calm down but a thing bothered him..."How much did you get though?" You smiled at him and replied "I got a 96." Baji sighed and said "The top student always has good grades, I guess."

"Hmm...anyways, let's go and hangout. School is over."-You said still smiling cheerfully. "Huh?" Baji looked around the classroom and formed a oh shape by his mouth.

Packing your bags, Baji and you went out of the classroom, walking towards the school gate. As when you both existed the school, Baji took off his glasses and rubber band, making his beautiful black hair flow.

A blush formed on your cheeks as always whenever he did this. You had liked Baji since you two were kids. Both of your moms were friends and you and Baji would play together in the playground.

"You know" Baji looked at you for you to continue. "You give me pehyoung yakisoba when I am down, I will treat you today."

Baji's eyes widen in surprise and a smile etched on his face. "I really appreciate that, thanks." "No, need to thank bestfriends." You said locking your arms behind your back.

His smile immediately dropped because though you two are best friends but he wanted to more than just best friends. "Hey, what's with the sudden dull face." You said while caressing his face.

"...Uh-n-nothing..." "Oh okay." And immediately after saying that, you both just stayed in complete silence but it wasn't that long when you chose to speak. "I will also help you with school so you don't stay behind and always feel proud of your result. What do you think?" You eyed him after giving him the offer.

Scratching his back, Baji started to think about it. And without minutes being passed, he already came up with his answer. "Sure, but can you even handle me for my stupidity and clumsiness?" You just chuckled at his words. Definitely, he is very clumsy and stupid, violent and wild. You sometimes might mistake him as a breed of wolf and a bat. But, he is just a sweet mommy's boy in the end, who has pure heart.
