(H.Shuji x Y/n) Finally Back

A bunch of stars flashed in the night sky and the moon was glowing beautifully. Bringing your legs near your chest, you put your chin on your hands and looked at the night sky while tears rolling down your cheeks.

You missed him, like a lot. It's been almost two years since you saw his piercing golden eyes, those tattooed hands and the way he smirked. You missed it all.

It was your birthday and you wished he was there, with you. You had just cut that damn cake. Your freinds were cheering you up and gave multiple gifts, but none of them could cease your burning heart.

A sudden loud voice interrupted your stargazing. The sound was nostaglic, it felt like music to your ears even though you knew it probably makes the other people irritated. It was the same sound as his bike and it was getting louder and louder by time.

You averted your gaze from the sky to the road which was visible from the balcony. A kind of similar figure was coming near riding that bike and your eyes widened. You immediately got up, brushed the dust off and gripped the railings hard.

His eyes were fixed on the road but now was fixed on you.Everything felt like in slow motion. "There's no f-fucking way...Shuji."

You softly said. He halted infront of your house and looked at you smirking but you could not see it as it was covered with a black mask. For you to let see it he removed his mask. It was indeed him.

"Yes way." He brushed his hair and then put a hand on his bike. It was him, your boyfriend whom you hadn't seen for two god damn years. You never broke up with him but he just literally vanished.

A hand made your to your mouth as little sobs released. Running downstairs, you opened the door and went outside, he was not there.

But then you heard the chuckles of him and you moved your head to the side and found yourself making an eye contact with him. He came closer, tucking his hands in his pockets, still keeping the eye contact. Then, he leaned forward and whispered in your ear, "Missed me baby?"

Your silent tears were now loud, but not that much and you grasped his shirt and put your forehead on his chest and nodded. "Missed you a lot." "Me too, baby." He then lifted your chin by his index finger and said "Happy Birthday Y/n." Wiping off your tears with his slender fingers, he placed a small kiss on your forehead.

"Thank you." You said. "Don't have a gift with me but can take you on a bike ride as a gift. What do you say?" "That would be so nice." He then lifted you up and placed you on his bike's backseat and sat on the bike ready to start it. His touch...is just relaxing.

Wrapping your arms around his torso, you kept your head on his shoulder while he drove away from your house."Don't you wanna just rob a store?" He said laughing. "Shuji...not again, please."You said as he made a thin line with his lips.

After hearing your words, he came to know you weren't really happy with his question. He wanted thrill but you always stopped him to do so, but when he was overdoing it, he was away from you, leaving you all alone.

"How were you surviving all this time? You are a fugitive, right?" You asked him. You were always worried after he went missing, not to mention numerous police officers chasing him. Always wondering, how was he? Was he able to fill his stomach? Was he able to find a place to stay?

"Just threatened some low lifes from time to time and I got what I needed." Oh, what more can you expect from him? "Still like that?" You chuckled. He smiled and said "Yeah baby, always. Also I have been wondering if you have a boyfriend already." "Ofc not."

"Good I would have beated the shit out of him if there was one. What's mine will forever stay mine no matter what. And make sure doll, I will be the one who will marry you. So, keep a photo of under your bed before sleeping."

"You are so extra and cheesy." He said while he looked at the highway infront if him. The bike was now in slanting position, riding along the road.

"Did you...j-join a gang again?" You asked while looking at the back of his which displayed 'Kanto Manji Gang'. He sighed and said "Yeah but I promise not to leave you again. And I will stat safe just for you."

A sweet smile etched on your face. Like that, he was just driving all around tokyo and you both were catching up to a lot of things. He made your day...for real.

Meeting after a long time and spending time with someone feels so special...it feels even more special when nothing has changed between you and them.
