The song blasted in Melanie's room as she layed back on her bed....just thinking. My attention was brought to the door, that was being opened as my 5 year old son Jayden walked in. I smiled and turned the music off.
"What's up my lil' man?", I said picking him up and placing him on the bed, facing me.
Jayden was a spitting image of his father Kirk. The only thing that threw me off, was his eye color.
"Mommy, my head hurts. I don't feel good", He said pouting.
I felt his forehead and he was burning up.
"Go put your shoes on and I'll take you to the doctor. Okay handsome?"
"Okay", he said softly.
I watched as he made his way out of the room. A knock was at that door and I quickly went downstairs to answer it. When I opened the door, Trey stood there with a smile on his face.
I laughed. "Okay, either your in a great mood or just happy to see me".
"Both", He said smiling and walking in.
Trey was handsome. VERY, handsome. I just want to take it slow with him . A few weeks ago I decided it was time for me and Kirk's relationship just to END. I was tired of his bullcrap that he put me through. Honestly, I think he was cheating on me with his ex anyway. I confronted him about it, and it turned into this HUGE fight. Afterwards, he left and I stoped caring.
Trey followed me upstairs to my room. He sat down on the bed and pulled me on him.
"Uh, no. Trey, Don't start with me. You know Jayden's in the other room", I said getting up.
I could tell he was aggravated, but he needs to learn that he can't have his way all the time. It doesn't work that way with me.
"Stop playing games, Mel. Come on",
"Is that why you came over here? Just to get some? Huh Trey?"
He laughed. "I'm sorry boo".
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I have to take Jayden to the doctor, so you could either go or tag along".
He thought for a moment. "Hmm, go home all alone or be with a gorgeous girl that I love".
Trey was clearly joking around , to get on my nerves.
"You already know the answer to that!", He said jumping up and hugging me around the waist.
I rolled my eyes and laughed. What a goof .
