LABOR & DELIVERY
Melanie laid in the hospital bed holding on to the rail as the contractions came. Her mom held onto her hand and rubbed her back in circles. She was sleepy and ready for Jayden to come out already. The nurse walked in smiling with a clipboard in her hand.
"How are you feeling baby?", The nurse asked watching Melanie's heart monitor.
"Like I wanna die.", She replied weakly.
The nurse chuckled. "That's normal sweetheart. Just relax and it'll be over before you know it.."
"Mel..", Her mom started. "I have to go pick up Daniel from school. I'll be back. Don't go nowhere.", She joked then kissed her forehead.
Mel rolled her eyes and her mom left out the room.
"I'll be back to check on you.", The nurse said then left.
Right after the nurse left, the door opened again with Pookie and Kirk walking in.
"Hey boo, how you feeling?", Kirk asked.
"If you give me kiss, I'll feel better."
He walked over to where she was and kissed her lips. Kirk sat down and started texting on his phone while Pookie did the same.
"Get the fucking nurse- doctor whatever, just get someone."
Pookie and Kirk jumped up to go get someone. When they walked out, Mel's mom told Daniel to get sit in the waiting room with Pookie. The doctor ran down the hallway and knew exactly what was going on. He went in the room, getting in front of Melanie.
"Ok, sweets. I'm going to need you to push on three. 1...2...3"

"Damn, this baby beautiful. He must get his looks from Melanie.", Kirk's cousin Jordan said as he held Jayden in his arms.
"Mayne Jordan, shut the fuck up. I know yo gorilla lookin' ass ain't talking about nobody."
Jordan rolled his eyes and passed the baby to Daniel.
"Aye, let me get a picture of that right quick..", Kirk said holding up his phone to take the picture.
Jordan jumped in the picture.
"Nigga, move ya dumbass out the way."
Jordan flipped him off and Kirk bucked at him, making Jordan run out of the room screaming. He laughed and continued to take the picture.

MELANIE
It was time for me to get discharged from the hospital and I was so happy to get away from that place. After having Jayden, that's it for me. The nurse helped me into the vehicle, while Kirk attempted to buckle the car seat. I laughed and shook my head.
"Aye, nurse. Help me out right quick mayne."
The nurse laughed and walked over to him. She buckled it and made sure it was tight enough.
"You my nigga. Preciate it dawg."
She smiled her pearly whites. "Once again, your baby is beautiful and I wish the best for both of you."
"Awww, thank you", I replied to her kindness.
She hugged me and played with my baby's fingers. "Well, ima let you guys go now. Have a blessed day."
Kirk closed the door and got in the driver's seat. I waved to the nurse as we drove off. When I looked back again, she was gone. Damn, that was fast. I shook it off and looked at my baby. Wow, bruh. My son is definitely going to change my life in many ways.

Sorry, I had to end it soon. I had to hurry and post it before Wattpad decides to close down on me. These few chapters will mainly be flashbacks so you guys can understand what really happened. But um Pookie was acting kinda shady at the hospital though. Next part coming up. Stay tuned :)
