To say Jisung was flustered would be completely, utterly, absolutely incorrect. He wasn't flustered. He wasn't blushing. No, he was just... Awkward? He was straight so staring deeply into his taller, long-haired roommate's eyes wasn't gay. For him at least. This was very not gay. Totally. He was not at all repeating this over and over in his head to try and keep it cool. Hell, even if he was somehow gay, there was no way he was losing this game to anyone. He was competitive and always wanted to win and this was no different, even if it was a really humiliating game to be playing in the first play. Imagine putting "professional gay chicken player" on a CV, yikes. It definitely didn't have much of a ring to it.
"Hold hands, hold hands!" Felix yelled out, laughing at the nervousness in both of the guys stood up so close together. "Don't stop looking at each other! That's how you lose."
Jisung sighed as quietly as he could but Hyunjin absolutely heard it, he was standing too near not to be able to after all. He quickly wiped his sweaty hands on his jeans before reaching to meet Hyunjin's shaky hands half way and interlocking their fingers. Even though he had wiped the sweat from his hands, they were already really sweaty again and he kind of hoped that Hyunjin didn't mind.
"Oooh! Touch noses!" Chan chimed in and Jisung saw him snatch the soju bottle from Jeongin's hands and down the last of it from out of his peripherals. So much for Chan being the responsible hyung, he was practically encouraging the whole thing. Jisung was definitely making sure he went up next for this game. Nevertheless, he gave a small nod to Hyunjin and the other gently bopped their noses together. And if Jisung had to hold his breath and if his stomach twisted, that was for him to know and nobody else. He was just embarrassed. That was it. Nothing else.
"Can you guys hug?" Seungmin suggested, leaning to rest his head on his boyfriend, Minho's shoulder with a wide smile. Why was Jisung's pain so amusing to everyone in this room?!
Jisung sucked it up though and let go of Hyunjin's hands, placing his own on the taller's chest and sliding them slowly up and around his neck. Much woo-ing came from the guys watching at the action and a few taunts about whether Hyunjin was going to give up, Jisung smirked and caused a few more cheers. He was trying harder to get his roommate to give up because he sure as hell wasn't. He wanted to win and get out of this game. Prefereably sooner rather than later.
"Hug him back Hyunjinnie hyung!" Jeongin piped up before he started to drunkenly giggle. "Or, oh my god, has he given up already?"
A scoff came out of Hyunjin's mouth at that comment before quickly and rather roughly grabbed Jisung by the waist, pulling him in to a chest-to-chest hug. Well shit, Jisung was going to need to up his game because that was a lot more forward than he was expecting. If he was blushing, he wasn't. That wasn't blush. It was... A glow from the alcohol? Not important anyway, the game was about getting the other person to chicken out and just because he may or may not be blushing didn't mean he was going to give up. He was going to win and that was final. And so, without any prompting from the other boys who were still cheering over Hyunjin's boldness to stay in the game, Jisung leaned in and pressed a kiss to his roommate's cheek all while staring him straight in the eyes.
"HOLY SHIT!!" Changbin screamed, clinging onto Felix as they all hollered and yelled at the suddenness. Their loudness only made Jisung become smug, smirking wider while his eyes remained locked with his roommate's. No way was he going to lose after pulling a stunt like that. "HE KISSED HIM, DUDE DID YOU SEE THAT?!"
There was a bright flush on Hyunjin's cheeks and his eyes were wide with shock, seeming almost lost. It was cute. Not it a gay way of course because Jisung was not gay, obviously. It was just in a... friendly way? Look, let's be real here, he doesn't know what he's thinking about right now, his brain is currently being overloaded with the good tingle-lingles (dopamine, obviously) from making his friends cheer and hoot on his side. Thinking straight and Han Jisung were currently not in contact right now. Well, the thinking part at least. He was still firmly hold onto the straight bit, remember?
"KiTh! Guys kisth!" Jeongin slurred with some adorable giggles before Chan immediately covered his mouth and moved Jisung's abandoned Heineken beer bottle out from the kid's hand, shushing their youngest like he was about to spill some kind of boy drama. It was to no avail though as the other boys had already heard and caught on, continuing the chant. Must suck being that one person walking past this room and hearing a bunch of drunk college students repeating 'Kiss' over and over like some kind of weird mantra.
"You don't have to. You can call quits and Jisung will win if you guys aren't comfortable with that." Seungmin whisper-shouted with an assuring smile. At least someone was sober enough to realise how much heterosexuality Jisung was practically oozing! As much as he loved Hyunjin, he wasn't exactly a fan of entertaining the idea of kissing him right now. Sure, those were some plump, pillow-looking, plush, perfect, pretty, pink, lips but... Jisung couldn't kiss those! They belonged to a guy who was his roommate. Maybe if Hyunjin wasn't his roommate he would be more willing to kiss him, not in a gay way though of course.
Damn, who was he kidding. Maybe Jisung was kind of down to kiss Hyunjin.
He was still straight though! A little experimenting never hurt nobody, right?
Still, this probably wouldn't be the best time nor place so Jisung opened his mouth to take up on Seungmin's offer, assuming that Hyunjin was drowning under a similar boat to him, but was cut off. A pair of plump, pillow-looking, plush, perfect, pretty, pink, lips crash landed right onto his own much sadder chapped, thin lips.
Jisung couldn't even process anything. His whole mind stopped entirely the moment those lips started moving against his own. He couldn't believe that Hwang Hyunjin, his stupid (admittedly attractive) roommate was kissing him. Him.
This felt fake. He felt dizzy and light-headed.
