The now awoken man leave the carriage, slowly. And for his sleep has not erased his manners, he thanked the driver and went into his way to the macabre mansion ahead.

The said man hesitated a little, but gived himself a little of courage knowing what he could get if he continued.

As the carriage goes away, the man looks at it, knowing that he cannot go back anymore.

As the doorbell rings, the man see the door opening on itself, only to look down and find....a kid?..

─"Good afternoon, lad. My name is Dr. John Hathaway."

The man said, as the kid just stared at him...

─"Of the royal museum?"

He added, and the kid finally realized...

─"Are you here to see the Magus?"

─"Well, I've co e to see Mr. Roderick Burgess."

The kid closed the door, unlocked and opened it...

─"Father likes to be called Magus. It means sorcerer."

The man only hum'ed and entered the house...

The kid guides the man trough the mansion, looking at his side's and above, seeing people on blue robes upstairs. He made a mental note of not going up there...

─"Here in the darkness. Here in the darkness."

Both of them clearly hear the sound of people chanting, the kid only looked at the man just to look back at they're path again..

But the man, it looks like curiosity not only killed the cat, but awoke the man's fear once again.

─"Here in the darkness. Here in the darkness."

The man saw a couple of people doing a chanting, and a woman in the center of it, taking the sharp object from someone and moving it closer quickly to her chest as she-

─"The Magus will recive his guest in the study, Alex."

The dark skinned man said as he closed the door, looking at the boy with a fake smile..

─"Yes, Mr. Sykes."

The kid did a signal with his head, meaning that whatever he saw there, it wasn't meaningful....
