Holly Malfoy: The Controlled Malfoy

Diagon Alley

Holly took Dracos' hand and he pulled her up onto her feet.

"That was weird" Holly said to her brother who nodded in response as they waited for their father to arrive.

Shortly enough, Lucius came sliding through the fireplace in the shop and swiftly stood up.

"Do you have your lists?" he asked his children.

"I do" Draco exclaimed and reached into his pocket and took out the scrunched up piece of parchment.

Lucius nodded to him before facing his daughter and giving her an unimpressed and impatient look.

"I left mine on my bed. Sorry father. But I can use Dracos as they are the same." Holly explained to her angry father standing before her.

"Of course you forgot your list, you're useless. I don't know how you are my daughter!" Lucius whisper yelled at his young daughter standing in front of him.

"So Draco," Lucius turned to his son 'Whats first on the list?"

"Our books so we should go to Flourish and Blotts"

"Ok come on. Hurry up Holly!"

Draco and Holly walked to the shop together talking about how they are so excited to be going to school together and about all the memories they would make in Slytherin, as well as the new friends they would make.

"I already know two people. Crabbe and Goyle will be in our year won't they father?" Draco questioned his father.

"Yes they will be son." Lucius replied.

As the three entered the shop, Holly was in awe of all the books around her. As she was heading to a section full of romance books she felt a cold, firm hand on her shoulder.

"Where do you think you are going? Come back here now" Lucius angrily said to his daughter grabbing her shoulder and pulling her back.

"I-I was going to go look at the books over there" Holly shyly replied to her father pointing at the section where she was going and unsure as to why she stuttered.

"No! You must stay by me or Draco and don't think about wandering off." Lucius told Holly.

"There!" Draco exclaimed pointing the the other side of the shop where the large sign saying 'School Books' was hanging.

Draco, Holly and Lucius all made their way over to the school books section and Draco once again looked at the list.

"Okay, the books we need are:

- The Standard Book of Spells, Grades One through Seven, by Miranda Goshawk                                   -  A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot                                                                                                        - Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling                                                                                                                           - A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch                                                                             - One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore                                                             - Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger                                                                                    - Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander                                                              - The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble"

"Okay!" Holly beamed as she and Draco began looking around the shelves for the books they needed.

Once they got two of every book they went back to their father who brought them to the register where he payed before leaving the shop.

"Okay, next is our uniforms" Draco read out of his list.

The three of them headed too 'Madame Malkin's Robes' to get fitted for their uniforms.

As they entered the shop, there was a boy around their age with round glasses leaving  with his mother and father. He had brown hair like his father unlike his mother with bright ginger hair. Holly and the boy shared a smile to each other as they passed and Holly continued into the shop.

Once they were fitted and given their clothes, they payed and then left the shop.

"We still need... a wand" Holly hesitated reading the list over Dracos shoulder.

"We should go to Ollivanders then," Draco said pointing to the shop near the end of alley..

They arrived and opened the door to which an old man appeared from under the desk. Holly looked at the man with a questionable look as to why he was under his desk but just went with it.

"Hello sir, we both need a wand!" Draco explained to the strange man, who Holly assumed was Mr Ollivander.

"Ah yes, the Malfoy twins. I knew I would be seeing you soon." The man said in his misty voice.

"Ok, first you Mr Malfoy." Ollivander told them before going back and grabbing a box before coming back to them and taking it out. "This is a 9inch, oak wood with dragon heartstring core" Ollivander muttered as giving Draco the wand.

Draco giving it a swish before water came flying out the end all over the floor.

"NO! NO! Definitely not" Ollivander gasped before taking the wand off Draco, putting it back in its box before going behind to the shelves again.

He came back with a different box and took out the wand. "This one is 10inches long made of hawthorn wood and unicorn hair." Draco took the wand and straight away his face lit up. "This one seems to be the one Mr Malfoy." Draco nodded, agreeing with Ollivander as he put his wand in his pocket.

"Now onto you Miss Malfoy." Ollivander said looking Holly up and down trying to figure out which wand might choose her.

Mr Ollivander left again and came back with once again another box. "This wand here is 10 and 3/4 inches, made of vine wood and a core of dragon heartstring." The old man said giving her the wand.

Holly gave a swish of the wand and the window at the front of the shop shattered. "Perhaps not" Ollivander cried grabbing the wand off of her.

After a minute, Ollivander came back with another box. "12 and 1/4 inch, made of willow wood with a unicorn hair core." As Holly held the wand, a beam of light flew out of the wand and made a star.

"I think this is the one for you Miss Malfoy" Ollivander exclaimed.

Holly nodded as putting the wand in her coat pocket. Lucius payed for the wands and took the twins out of the shop.

They finished shopping for the last bit of equipment they needed for the year including:

A cauldron each, a set of glass or crystal phials, a telescope and a brass scales each.

Once they finished they went back to the fireplace where they first arrived and used floo powder to get back home once again.
