CHAPTER 12

After everyone got off the ships, we were teleported to what looked like a hotel, but it was heavily over-manufactured to look too fancy. It was also huge. Huge enough to fit a billion people, especially since it reached the sky.

A woman came out through the double doors and greeted us.

"I haven't seen such a large group since the war in 1345." She joked, laughing. I noticed she had a slight accent, but didn't know where it was from. If I could guess, I would assume it was some kind of European accent.

Asra leaned down to my ear and whispered, "The war answers a lot of questions you don't want to hear." I looked at her, confused.

What does she mean by that?

Liam gave her a warning look, but she just ignored him.

"My English isn't that great, so forgive me if you don't understand," she started. "Welcome to the Onyx Luxury Hotel! The most popular hotel in Hengeren. This hotel was built after the war, as an evacuation home in case there were any dangers regarding attacks. There's also a hotel in your world, since we've had a few wars ourselves in the past." She stated.

"If you could please, follow me this way — no-no, one group at a time, there's a lot of you here." She laughs lightly.

Since we were in the front with other people, she directed us into the building, and explained where each floor was located. When she was finished, we booked our rooms and made our way to them. We decided to stay on the first floor, since we just got here and the rooms weren't yet filled.

Liam and Asra picked a room for themselves, while I picked my own.

I looked around my room, and it was kind of big and luxurious, with tall wide windows.

I sighed and started unpacking my suitcase. I was curious about how my bathroom looked, so I stopped for a moment, and went inside it.

To say I didn't know what I was expecting is an understatement.

It looked like a normal luxury hotel bathroom, with white marble wall designs, fancy-looking marble sinks, and fancy showerheads; and, of course, the fancy built-in towel racks glued to the walls. Though, the bathtub was inside the shower, attached to the wall. The toilet was in the middle of these two walls, which I have never seen a toilet be placed in before.

Maybe a bit overdramatic, I thought.

I looked over at the wall again, and saw two huge rectangle mirrors which reflected the wall across from them, with white lights glowing from behind.

I decided to take a shower, since it's currently night- and because it was the red devil's month. When done, I got dressed and freshened up, and brushed my damp blond hair after drying it with the towel.

I realized I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste in my bag, so I just used the full bottle of mouth wash that was already on the sink to freshen my mouth, considering I was too lazy to go back and dig to find it.

I sniffed my arm, as that was always a habit to see if I showered good enough.

Ahh, the lovely fresh citrus smell of Irish Spring bar soap.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sound of the door knocking.

Confused, I walked toward the door, but not before asking who it was.
