I felt satisfied on what was like my aquatic throne.
In the depths of the sea...
Alone.
Most Pokémon tended to avoid me, for they knew I would maul and disembowl them to death. Like I did to that arrogant school of Wishiwashi. But I was only defending myself.
In truth... My insides were soft and peaceful.
Except when it came to that stupid dinosaur called...
Groudon.
Groudon, my rival. My rival... I wasn't apex. That part of my mind could've blown up and decimated every thought of peace.
I had wished for a truce with Groudon. I thought we could make a compromise, half of the earth made of land, and the other half made of his soul element.
But he was angry. He said it was too late. Too late on cancelling that long-lived idea about more of Earth being made of water.
And we went to war, regarding that idea.
Why couldn't he make peace when he knew he could? Then earthquakes and floods wouldn't ever be occurring!
Then a cold sickle claw graced my neck, and Mega Rayquaza, which I'd immediately identified, growled.
"My lust is sky-high. The next of my hunt... A female, no less."
"I didn't know you liked me, Rayquaza," I growled, my voice wobbling. I had never asked for a crush, yet one so lustful.
"I shall claim you," he said, his greedy eyes not leaving mine, and his smirk wide.
"I realize you want Ash Ketchum," I snarled. "Why are you aiming at me?"
"I just need to get the job done."
And while I was tormented, Mewtwo spied on us from above.
