I yelled as I tumbled through a purple stream of light surrounded by blackness. I saw the other crewmates being flung around as well. My stomach churned and I held my breath again. Trying not to vomit, I positioned myself along the walls of the tunnel. Looking up, I saw a circle of white, blinding light. The end of the tunnel!

My speed increased as I was thrown into the light. A blinding second later, I tumbled onto the floor of a deserted room in the Imposter HQ. Taking a few deep breaths, I stood up as the other crewmates also departed from the portal. As soon as everyone was here the portal closed and we all caught our breath. Cracking the door open, I saw that the middle of the Imposter HQ was deserted. Well, that was pretty fortunate. However, I soon saw the reason why.

As soon as the crewmates and I stepped into the room, there was an ear-piercing battle cry as hundreds of imposters charged down. Doing a quick scan on most of them, I realized that Gray had sent in the amateurs first.

"Save your energy!" I called out to the crewmates. "Use the guns!"

They obeyed as I summoned multiple wolves which went in different directions. After a long, gruesome hour, most of the amateurs were dead. A lot of them had fled. A few crewmates had been injured but other than that we were all fine. Another roar sounded as more imposters rushed in.

I readied myself but White shook me out of it.

"Go for Gray! You need to kill him!" She shouted. Oh yeah. I completely forgot that part.

The crewmates began to cut a path to the throne room as I used a purple whip to warn the imposters off. The sound was deafening as screams, gunshots, slashing, and roars were basically the soundtrack for the next ten minutes. Eventually, once I got to the hall, I found myself alone as the rest of the mission went back to fighting the imposters.

I flung myself at the royal guards and summoned a rage blade. Slashing at both of them, they were quickly defeated as I dashed into the throne room. Gray was ready for me. His crown was thrown aside. He was wearing full body armor and his fingertips were glowing with cyan light. Without giving him time to say his usual long speech, I summoned a volley of cannonballs and ducked under a column as the explosions rang out. Lifting my head as I stood up, I saw Gray, unscathed, evaporating a forcefield of cyan. Smoke rose from the blackened floor covered in ashes. He smirked, and suddenly, I found myself on the defensive, constantly blocking blows and dodging knives.

I tried to summon animals, but, exhausted, I could only muster up enough energy for weak shields as Gray sent another wave of knives at me. I had wasted all my energy summoning wolves. I saved up my magic and energy until Gray's attack lessened. Taking a huge breath, I let out a roar as I summoned a giant ax, ten times taller than me and the blade was humongous. Raising it into the air, I kept control of it as I brought it down onto a shield that Gray had summoned. He grunted as the shield cracked, but let out an explosion that sent me flying. I felt my energy drain out of me as the ax disappeared into the mist.

I faintly heard the *clang* of metal as I landed on an armor stand. Gray was charging at me as soon as I stood up. In his hands was a glowing cyan sword. I summoned my own, flickering, sword and started to clash with him. My strength was ebbing away with every second I continued to use my magic. I was once again on the defensive but Gray's unwavering attacks were winning me. My shield shattered as a whip lashed at it. I felt a pain in my chest, turning my vision red as my blood ran down my face from several gashes and cuts.

It was a thorn. A huge thorn is nearly half as thick as me. Lodged into my chest. I fought the pain and tried to stand up. Gray was laughing as he taunted me. It was unnoticed as I fell to the ground and slipped into darkness in a pool of red blood.
