"Oh, this is... sad?" Thor blinked repeatedly at the screen.
Many people didn't know whether to laugh or frown. So they chuckled sadly instead.
"What do you mean you want Peter back?" Pepper glanced at Tony, who looked nearly as confused as her. She narrowed her eyes, wondering what this man was up to. Tony smiled sheepishly at her. "No idea. The future, remember?"
"Aw, thanks Steve," Bucky smiled at his blonde friend who smiled back.
"Loki's dead again?" Thor grumbled, staring down his brother, who shrugged slightly sheepishly. "Who will buy poptarts for me?" Thor frowned in disappointment and Loki facepalmed at that. "Are you saying I'm only useful because I buy you poptarts sometimes?" Thor barely looked at him, too busy trying to think of someone who can buy him poptarts with only mild complaining.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" Clint and Tony yelled at the same time, getting to their feet and glaring at said people. Peter pouted, giving them his cute puppy eyes. "Aw, please? )=3 "
Natasha just smirked and rolled her eyes. "No promises, boys." Clint continued glaring at his partner while Tony avoided looking at Peter in case be melted of cuteness.
"Spidey Gang," MJ snorted. "You're so weird, whoever the note-writer is."
"I think it's a cool name," Peter defended. "I think it's very... uh, spidery." Natasha suppressed an amused smile. "You have interesting tastes, spiderling."
Clint raised an eyebrow. What was he missing out there? Since when did she call him... whatever that word was.
"Ohmygodshecancarryhim."
"That'ssocuteI'mgoingtobarf."
"Sincewhencanshecarrythatoldman?"
"Awww...puthimdownagentromanoff."
Natasha wasn't very sure what she was supposed to be feeling- embarrassment? Or pride that she could carry Barton? Plus that look on is face is priceless- so she decided to glare at everyone who looked her way.
Clint was trying very hard not to blush. He wanted to tease Natasha about the fact that this might never happen, but she would probably call him fat. Which wasn't very nice.
"NAT, STOP CALLING HIM A TRAITOR! How many times do I have to rescue him from Not-Traitor Jail?" Clint groaned and put his head in his hands. "It's technically not a jail-" Scott replied, but he was grinning ear to ear. It made Clint very suspicious.
"Hahaha," Natasha just said, smirking at him. As usual. "He's still fat by the way."
Clint shot daggers at her, but she ignored it like it was a pesky fly. Also as usual.
Fury tried not to facepalm. Why was his top agents so childish and immature sometimes? He didn't get it... how can they on one hand be cold and unnerving spies with amazing fighting skills and on the other... be so child-like?! Maria took one look at Fury to know what was going on his mind. Maria hid a smile.
"THAT'S SO COOL!" Peter, MJ, Ned, Yelena, Kate, Tony and Scott said at almost the exact same time.
"They look amazing," Steve complimented, nodding at the screen. Bucky agreed with him, putting a thumbs up.
"Nice dagger," Yelena noted. "Thanks," Natasha smiled. "I stole it myself."
Nearly everyone burst out laughing.
Clint facepalmed, but he was also grinning.Sometimes the saddest missions have its funny parts, as unbelievable as that might sound.
Now have a nice day.
