Chapter five (can think of a good name for this chapter atm)

Sam pov

I wake up face dug deep into Kyle's chest paws gripping his shirt I want to try and get up for breakfast but not wanting to disturb Kyle I try slip my way out of his grasp which proves ineffective as I look away for five seconds and hes looking at me blushing. "Morning sleepy head" Kyle says in-between yawns i smile at him before squirming out of his hold "want anything for breakfast?" I question Kyle walking to the kitchen I hear a groan and then thumping coming from behind me I giggle before entering the kitchen

"honey is that you?" A feminine voice tiredly asks "yep ma I have a friend over don't embarrass me please and I'm sorry for not asking you it was last minute and he was already here ok" Kyle replys somewhat annoyed "Kyle James malroy what have I told you about not asking me things before you do them" she rants thumping her way down the stairs. I look over to Kyle seeing a look of guilt quickly taken over by annoyance on his face. "I think I should leave" I say standing up "sorry for intruding miss malroy I'll be leaving now" I'm at the door ready to leave when Kyle's mum walks in to the kitchen "oh no you can stay if u wish Kyle doesn't have many friends you see" I hear Kyle groan while shooting his mum a look which she ignores "I just wish my kyley bear would of told me before inviting you. Before I forget what's your name sweet cheeks" she asked politely "um my name's Sam miss" she nods and whispers something to Kyle, his face instantly goes red "NO MUM HES NOT MY BOYFRIEND GOD CANT YOU JUST LEAVE US BE FUCKING HELL" as Kyle storms off she opens her mouth to protest but stops knowing it wi only add fuel to his fury. All I can think to do in that moment is chase after him.

Kyle pov

I start pacing around my room fuming were not even a thing the tension was just reay high last night from spin the bottle and him telling me his past and everything he CRIED himself to sleep last night what did u want me to do I was thinking to myself when I heard Sam running into my room it's kinda funny hearing his tiny paws tap against the ground as he runs he would make a good tap dancer I giggle as he finally makes it to my room. "Hey are you okay Kyle? Please don't get mad at your mum she's just worried about you that's all." I couldn't help but laugh at how calm and kind Sam was I looked down to talk to him, "hey Sam umm shit I don't know how to say this but do u wanna go to the movies with me" I asked covering my face to hide my blush I honestly don't know why I asked like come on me and him a thing what's wrong with me he is clearly straight Rachel says I have a strong "gaydar" or whatever that means and I'm getting no readings in my "gaydar" I'm about to get up when that Sam starts speaking he has this way of commending attention to him "s-s-sure I wou-would love to go with you k-kyle."

Sam pov

Did he just ask me out the the movies this can't be real, I slap myself as hard as I can to make sure this isn't a dream and for once im happy to feel the searing pain of being hit "OMG Sam are you ok why did you do that!?" Kyle asks jumping up to stand to see if I was okay "I'm fine just making sure this wasn't a dream aha" I reply rubbing my cheek that hurt more then I was planning on. Grabbing his arm I pull him out if his room and down the stairs "come on what are you waiting for!" I yelled as I dragged him I looked behind me for one second when Kyle picks me up bridal style and runs down the stairs "bye mum were going to the movies see you in a few" Kyle says as he runs out of the house me in his arms. "Okay you can put me down now Kyle" I say struggling to get a good grip to drop out his arms. Once he set me down I got into the passenger seat and waited for Kyle to start driving but his mother came out to talk with him.

Time skip movies
Kyle pov

"So umm what type of movie u wanna watch? I asked Sam waiting for a response without a answer Sam just points to a poster for the lastest romance movie just staring at me waiting for my permission "ugh fine but on one condition no crying please" Sam just vigorously nodded his head, I pay the clerk at the stand for our tickets "hey gay boy, you on a date with Sammy boy aww" I turn to see Rachel standing there laughing her little head off I just stare at her and groan "why are you here Rachel you must want something you hate cinemas."
"Uh yea actually I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out for dinner with my Kyle and no it's not a date" Rachel replys sighing.
All I could do was gasp Rachel never goes out for dinner with anyone and if she does she certainly wouldn't ask me to go with her, she gives me a slip of paper then ran off "Rachel wait!" I called out but she was already gone I turn and start going to the cinema were meant to go
"Hey what's wrong with Rachel?" I turn around to see a curious otter looking up at me. I just shrug "I don't really know come on let's go or we're gonna miss the start" all I received was a groan from Sam as he stirred in his sleep "five more minutes mum let me sleep my god" he was kind of cute sleeping away, knowing I wasn't going to get any where trying to wake him up I did something I knew I would regret but it was the only thing I could think of at the time. The second I pecked Sam on the cheek his eyes flicked open

Time skip after movie ends Kyle pov

I honestly didn't expect to like the movie I planned on falling asleep but what happened was the opposite Sam got bored from the movie when I enjoyed it. "Sam wake up you dummy" I say lightly while trying to wake him up "five more minutes mum that's all I need" he groaned while trying to reason with someone who wasn't there. I couldn't help but laugh as it seemed like he does this alot, I don't really know what I was thinking but I decided to tickle him below his arms to try get him to wake up and without five seconds notice sam's eye flung open and he looked around him confused "where am I? Wait why are you here Kyle I'm so confused." After explaining to him what had happened he got very embarrassed and started saying he was sorry for falling asleep.
"Hey Kyle to make up for me falling asleep during the movie do u want to maybe go out for dinner with me? I was slightly taken aback as Sam asked me with a slight worry in his eye
"Of course I'll go Sam but I can't tonight I still need to see Rachel ok feel free to hang around my place whilst I'm out k."

Time skip to Kyle meeting with Rachel Rachel pov

Where is he Kyle isn't the type of person to be late without something bad happening, I pull out my phone to call him when I see his car pull up.
"Hey Rachel I'm so sorry I'm late i had to make dinner for my family and my mum wouldn't let me get out of it"
I just nod in response when the waiter appears before us asking what we would like to order "so sorry ma'am can you please give us a bit more time" I ask adding a fake smile. Once she leaves I grab Kyle's arm and drag him out the restaurant
"Wait I thought we were having dinner were are we going" I sigh and look at him with tears starting to form in my eyes.
"No we're not having dinner I'm sorry it was the only way I could think of to talk to you one on one I just have a confession to make" Kyle doesn't respond he just nods as to say go on
"I just wanted to say I've had a crush on you for years but I've never wanted to say anything and lose our friendship. Then you told me you were gay so I finally gave up on 'us' and now that u are hanging out with Sam I'm really happy for you. It's like you were written in the stars you know?" I look up at Kyle with tears in my eyes, it felt great to get that off my chest after years. "Hey it's ok Rachel you know nothing can break our friendship apart if u told me earlier or without telling me things would always remain the same. Now since we didn't eat do u wanna come over to my place?" I nod and follow Kyle's  car to his place.
