Chapter 2: Oath

Everything was still silent, eyes still on me- especially those green ones. I felt the heat rising up on my face. No one was going to make the first move, not a single person. This has to be the second most awkward moment I've ever had besides the one time Isaac and I had to stay back in class and watch The Gift of Life movie in science.

A Gay baby has been born.

"Who ordered the egg and cheese omelet and hash brown?" Betty yelled walking out of the kitchen with plates stacked along her arms.

Everything went back to normal and everyone started talking again.

I breathed out a breath I didn't know I was holding and grabbed my notepad and pen out of my apron an headed towards the boys table.

Once I got to the table and they all went silent. I cleared my throat and put on a fake smile. "Hi welcome to Betty's Pancakes I'm Camille and I'll be your server today. What would you like for drinks?" I asked.

I took my time to look at their faces. There was One with dark brunette hair and brown eyes. The Bad boy and mysterious vibe radiated off of him. Then there was 2 boys who I assumed were twins. One of them had brown curly shaggy hair and then the other had straight shaggy hair. Then there was one who had blonde short hair with blue eyes. He looked to be the player of the group. Then there was the green eyed boy. He had blonde hair and green eyes he looked to be 19-20. The leader of the group.

"I'll have a coke." The mysterious one of the group said.

"I'll have a water." The one twin with curly shaggy hair said.

"I'll have the same." The other twin with straight shaggy hair said.

"Um can I get a Coke?" The player said. "And I'll also like your number." He winked.

"Conner! Come on stop picking on her!" The curly haired twin yelled smacking 'Conner' on the back of the head. He then turned to me "Im sorry for his behavior. By the way my name is Luke and this is my twin brother Jai." He had a slight Australian accent.

"Im Declan." The brunette one said as he nodded one of those head nods.

"Well I'm obviously Conner." The player smirked.

I turned my attention towards the green eyed boy. He stayed silent while looking down at his phone.

"And that's Jacob." Conner said as he nudged Jacob in the side. Jacob looked up at Conner and then at me.

"I'll have a Coke." He said in a deep voice and then looked down at his phone again.

"Camille." I murmured. "I'll be right back with your orders." I quickly turned around and speed walked towards the kitchen.

Talk about rude.

I grabbed the drinks and put them on a tray. I balanced it on my hand and smirked at myself for being so awesome.

Quickly I walked out of the kitchen and started walking towards the boys table only to find Bethany, queen bee of the school at the table. She was sitting by Jacob.

She's such a total bi-

"Ah if it isn't Camille the loner of the town." Her high perky voice sneered as she flung her bleach blonde hair across her shoulder smacking Declan in the face. He glared at her.

I swear her hair moved in one heap. It was like a tangled birds nest. If there was a giant gust if wind right now, I bet her hair wouldn't even budge.
