We stand at the door, heart rates elevated! I knock on the door, shaking. He opens the door, and sees our frowns. "E-Elder Kettle...we went...to the Devils' Casino."

'We're in so much trouble!' I thought to myself. Elder Kettle let's out a sigh, and let's us in. We sat on the couch, and he began to speak. "What happened, kids?" He asked us, calmly. The boys stayed quiet, with their heads hanging down. I inhaled, and said,  "Cup wanted to go to the casino, and gamble. Me and Mugs said no, but he went anyway. So we ran after him, to stop him. He somehow managed to persuade us to go in too. I didn't gamble, I just walked around. After two hours, I realized that we had to get outta there! When I finally found em, the Devil made a deal with them." I stopped. I turned to my friends, and looked at Cup. "He agreed to the deal...and the price was their souls. He said that if they wanna keep their souls, they have to collect all of his contract debtors' souls within twenty four hours." I finished, and looked back at the ground.

"I think you should get going, and collect those contracts." Elder Kettle replied. He walked off into his room, leaving us flabbergasted. We looked at each other, in confusion. He walked back in, holding a bottle containing a light blue liquid. "This potion will give you remarkable powers! Use them for good reasons, and never for evil. Do you understand?" He asked us, with a serious tone. The boys nod up and down. Elder Kettle looks at me. "Do you understand, Rose?"

My eyes widen. 'Me?!'
"Y-you want me to go too?!" I somewhat smiled. He nodded his head. The bro's eyes widen, with their mouths agape. "Elder Kettle! No! She could get hurt! Or worse...killed!" Mugs cried out. "Mugman she will be fine, I promise." He replied, putting a hand on his shoulder. Mugs looks at him, then back at me. "Alright...but the first time she gets injured, we'll send her back home!" He said firmly. We three drank from the potion, one at a time. We packed our supplies, and started our journey.

We've already collected 8
soul contracts, and we have a lot more to collect. Through each battle, the boys have been over protective. Every time I got close to getting hurt, they immediately start to panic. We had just walloped Djimmi The Great. The bosses are getting harder, each level. "Cup...stay still. I can't bandage your leg, if you're wiggln' around." I said, trying to wrap some bandages around his chipped leg. "I can't help it, Rose. Ouch!" Cup yelped. I finally got him to sit still, and finished patchn' him up. "And...done." I smiled, standing up. I helped him stand up and he said, "Thanks." I smile and say, "You're welcome, Cup."

Now we're on our way to fight the next debtor, Grim Matchstick. "He's...up...in the sky??" I asked wide-eyed, looking up in the sky. "Oh come ooon!!!" Cup whined. "Ugh...drat." Mugs put simply veiling irritation, clinching his fists. I put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey...we can do this." I said, calmly. He looks at me, and I return his gaze. We share a smile. Our little 'moment', was interrupted by Cup. "Well come on! Let's kick his ass!" he yelled, readying his 'gun'.

Time skip~

After we arrived at where the fight'll be held, we prepared ourselves for the fight. It was a tough fight, yet not unbeatable. In the middle of the battle, I was so close tired Grims' mussle! I parry the last riple, which is pink. I hear Mugs and Cup yell, "ROSE WATCH OUT!!!" I try to dodge what ever it is, but then...
