MARK SAT IN HIS ROOM LISTENING TO MUSIC. The speakers blasted his favorite songs. He walked around while studying. Bopping his head to the music. He had his pet ferret, Koko, on his shoulder.

"Mark!" His mother calls.

"What is it?" He asks.

"One of your friends is here!" She answers.

"I didn't know Johnathan was coming over." He replys.

"It's not Johnathan." His mother replys. Mark turns around and looks Confused. He prayed hoping it wasn't Tommy or Carol here to make fun of him again. He leaves his room and walks down the stairs. With KoKo of course. He loved that Ferret more then food, and he loves food. He walked up to the door and was greeted by Steve 'the hair' Harrington.

"What the fuck." He says. "What are you doing here! You know what will happen when your seen with the town Fag. You're whole reputation could be at danger by you just driving into our driveway." Steve puts his hand on his mouth to stop him from rambling.

"I need your help." Steve says once Mark stops mumbling in Steve's hand.

"And why would I help you." Mark answers. " You and your shitty friends made my life fucken hell. As far as I'm concerned I wanted you and your friends to drop dead."

"Weren't you concerned about my reputation." Steve asks confused on Marks switch of feelings.

"No, I just wanted to confirm about how much of an idiot you are." Mark answers slamming the door but Steve's stops it with his feet.

"Listen if you help us." Steve starts. Mark looks behind him to see Tommy and Carol. "We'll leave you and your friends alone."

"I'll grab my jacket." Mark says while rolling his eyes. He instantly regrets his decision. He tells his mom he's gonna be gone for a while then leaves his house while Steve, Carol and Tommy wait for him.

"Nice ferret. Where did  you get him. The junk yard." Tommy comments.

"If I understood the situation correctly." Mark starts pointing at tommy and touching him hurder by each sentance. "You asked for my help. So i have the upper hand here. One more comment about Koko and im leaving all you fuckers to fucken die."

"Damn, who knew you had it in you Miller." Carol answers. "Cmon, let's just get this shit over with." Steve gets in the driver seat as Mark gets into the passenger seat. He takes Koko off his shoulder and holds him.

"Dude, you are obsessed with that thing." Steve says leaning away from it.

"What ya scared of it." Mark replys looking at him. "It's a ferret it won't harm you."

"No it's just disgusting." He answers. Mark looks at him shocked.

"How dare you!" He shouts. "Koko is the most precious thing to me. She saved my life. When I had nothing. When I was at my lowest after the hell you guys put me through." Mark started tearing up. "When I was done with everything. She showed up on front porch and needed someone to take care of her. She was alone too. And she needed someone like how I needed someone."

"I'm sorry." Steve immediately apologises. " I was the shittiest person towards you and now you're helping us."

"Let's just get this over with so I could go home and pass out on my bed." Mark replys looking out the window. Steve starts the car and drives towards the police station.

"Okay Mark." Steve starts. "You're good at arguing and making people seem harmless. Now do that to the cops."

"What did you do Harrington?" Mark asks turning around.

"I'll tell you later." Steve answers as he exits the car.

"I CAN'T BELIVE YOU CONVINCED THE COPS TO LET US GO." Carol says getting into the car Tommy not far behind.

"Your a fricken magician I te ya." Tommy says before closing the door of the car.

"Hey Mark." Steve calls. "I'm sorry for everything I did. Do you maybe wanna start fresh."

"Sure, why not." Mark answers smiling. Koko then climbs on his head looking down at Steve. Steve could have swore that the ferret gave him the 'You hurt him and I'll break every bone in your body' stare.

'God that Ferret freaks me the shot out' Steve thought as be entered his car Mark not far behind.
