Everyone was fighting outside the Conference Hall building. Zenitsu was trying to slice the lock and Nezuko and Makomo were in the middle. One of the three Butterfly girls was constantly shooting the zombies in their abdomen, and was inflicting non-effective injuries. Tanjiro shouted...

Tanjiro : SHOOT THEM IN THE HEAD!!!!!

They were barely managing to keep themselves safe. Zenitsu sliced the lock...

Zenitsu : OKAY, COME ON IN NOW, EVERYONE!!! GO TO THE CONFERENCE HALL!!!!

The first entered Makomo, followed by the three girls. Kanao was looking towards Tanjiro, she wanted to help him. But Shinobu grabbed her hand, and ran in with her, Aoi following them. Genya and Sabito too got in, but Genya told Tanjiro...

Genya : COME IN SAFE, BROTHER!!!

Tanjiro : DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME, MAN!!!

Nezuko was standing there, she couldn't dare to leave her brother alone. Tanjiro ordered Zenitsu...

Tanjiro : ZENITSU, TAKE HER IN!!! INOSUKE, YOU TOO, GO IN NOW!!!

Zenitsu replied...

Zenitsu : GOT IT, BUT BE SAFE!!!

Zenitsu grabbed Nezuko's hand, and tried to run. She cried...

Nezuko : ONII-CHAANNNN!!!!!

She hesitated, but Zenitsu dragged her in. Inosuke followed them. Now Tanjiro was standing alone outside, fighting alone, too.

Every one, except Tanjiro, managed to enter the building. The building was four-storeyed, and the Conference Hall was in the top floor. It was a big hall, with hundreds of tables, and chairs. They all rushed through the staircases and hallways. Aoi, while running on the stairs, fell down, and sprained her ankle. Inosuke, who was right behind her, instinctively stopped, and picked her up, bridal-style, and started running again, making Aoi blush. They all managed to get in the room, and kept the door open for Tanjiro.

Tanjiro was ruthlessly slaying every single zombie, but they were just increasing in number. Suddenly, a sumo-wrestler zombie came, and Tanjiro attacked it. It took a couple of seconds for Tanjiro to slay it. But other zombies had closed in now. Tanjiro realized it was meaningless to fight them. They were very close to him now. He started running in. Zombies were only a mere couple of metres away from him. He ran and ran, until he reached the top floor. He was dashing through the hallway, that led to the Conference Hall. Zenitsu was looking at him with a light of hope. Shinobu peeked through the door, and a chill went down her spine...

'He won't make it. No, it is impossible for him to escape. In that case,...'

Tanjiro was just about 20 metres from the Hall door, when Shinobu suddenly ran to the door, and closed it. Every one's heart stopped beating.

Tanjiro felt like a bullet went through his heart. He was a dead man now. Nezuko couldn't breathe, Zenitsu was too shocked and Inosuke felt very angry. Kanao, Genya, Sabito and Makomo just gulped, thinking only God could now save Tanjiro. It was like time stopped for a moment.
