The Emperors Lady

The uneventful encounter

"Come here son" Charles says calling over his son. "What's the matter father?" Asher asks concerned. "My heart disease is getting worse...I don't have much time left" Charles says in agony. Asher sits there quietly listening to his father "before I pass away I need you, my son to be married. I want to see you married, the woman you marry" Charles says

Asher sighs "Father you know I've never shown interest in anyone" he says trying to sympathize "Please son!" Charles begs using his hands (🙏) Asher begins to feel bad for his father and wants to fulfill his wish "I'll try and find myself a woman worth being part of our family" he says reassuring his father and leaves the room.

The sun is beginning to set and Asher is keeping up with things for his sisters coronation making sure all the guests have arrived and keeping track on who's there.

Alessandra's Pov

I walk over to a drink table and poor myself some wine in a cup, I'm walking in the massive crowd of people as they admire the princess that's at the front. I think her name was belle, I'm not very fond of the Emperors family I think they're overrated.

As I'm standing with my glass of wine a woman who looks a bit hideous bumps into me making me spill my wine on her dress as I step forward to help clean and wipe it off I step on her dress ripping it as she'd panicked and started moving around a lot. Her incompetence led her to this.

The woman begins going mad and screaming at me making a scene. If I were her I wouldn't make such a ruckus at the emperors castle. "This Lady just bumped into me and ruined my dress! She even stepped on it! This woman is after me!" She yells at me. How idiotic can elder women be. I hope I never turn into what she is.

A boy with pink hair and round glasses rushes up to her and assists her. "Oh dear heavens Asher! Please banish this lady at once! She's a spy after me!" She points at me. So dramatic. "I was merely standing, you bumped into me and moved after I tried to assist you" I say glaring at her.

"None sense! I am a women of perfection and manners! I'd never do such!" She says acting all innocent. She makes me want to end her on the spot. "Don't speak like that to an Archduchess! She's a very high ranking woman!" He says taking her side. People of status always do something for their standing but not the right thing. I scoff.

"I wouldn't have cared if she was the Empress I know I'm right!" I say being stubborn as usual. I'm a very stubborn women.

The boy just ignored me and took the lady away as the lady was crying hysterically. I doubt any one of those tears were real.
