I'm doing okay.
Okay is an understatement. I'm doing better than I have since my parents left. The raksasa's still come, of course, I feel them clawing their way through the rift and I hear their cries of despair when they find that they can't anymore.
Despite the rift being closed, my powers are returning. Not quite as dreadful as before, though. The shadows are still there, sometimes they lick the corners of the room as if to say - we're still here and we could come back-.
Sometimes I'm scared that eventually everything will return to how it was before we closed the rift. The strength that I feel like a dark shadow that follows me everywhere. A demon that haunts my mind and might take over my body at any moment, turning me into the monster that my parents inevitably became.
But an angel always chases that demon away.
She is like a sun. Shining wherever there was darkness before. The darkness can return, but the sun shines longer, passionately and bright.
Her name is Angel, coincidentally, and around a year ago, she turned my whole world upside down.
She practically forced herself into my life.
I think I needed her to be pushy anyway.
Otherwise I don't think she would have stayed.
