as soon as renjun placed his butt on the chair in his bedroom, his phone rang louly. the brown haired was a bit startled by it but then managed to pull it out of his backpack and picked it up after reading the contact name.
once the phone touched his ear the a loud scream was heard. renjun immediately pull it away for a second until the scream stopped then took it back to his ear. "jen, why are you screaming?"
"how dare you?"
"what?"
"what?? my friend, i missed school for one day. ONE DAY and chenle called me earlier saying that you're with jaemin... like LITERALLY with jaemin."
"oh. that."
"what do you mean by oh? is it real???"
renjun cleared his throat once before answering. "it's real. we're boyfriends. sorry for not telling you sooner."
"OH MY GOD. how long has it been?"
"uhhh a few days now?"
"you little traitor."
"i'm really sorry. i was a bit unsure about it, so..."
jeno suddenly chuckled and spoke. "idiot, i was just joking.... i'm glad it worked out well for you. i was so scared about it since the day you found out that you like him."
"thank you jen."
"no problem... and one last question." jeno asked in a serious tone out of a sudden and renjun froze in place, waiting for his friend's voice from the phone. "is he a good boyfriend?"
renjun paused. he didn't pause because he had to think for the answer because it was already at the front of his mind. jaemin is a good boyfriend. he's actually the best for him. the reason that made his mind stopped working for a moment was because of how nice it was to think about jaemin that way. 'a good boyfriend', jaemin had always been one and renjun felt so happy by just thinking about it.
"yes, jen. he is a good boyfriend. he's the best." his mind went completely blank and the words just slipped out genuinely from his heart.
"oh no..."
"what happened jen?"
"my eyes are leaking salty water. do i need to go to the hospital?"
"oh my god... you scared me!!!"
"i'm sorryyy but for real though, i'm so happy for you and i'm literally crying right now. you don't understand."
"thank you jenjen. i'm also happy right now and so is my mom. things are going so great."
"YASSS BESTIE."
"jeno, please stop screaming unannounced." renjun said and they both laughed before continuing their conversation.

the moment jaemin completely got into his apartment, a voice spoke up loudly from the living room.
"i heard from mom that you got a boyfriend."
jaemin didn't have to take a look to know who it was. it's none other than his one and only brother. the orange haired took off his shoes and went to the living room where the older was and sat down beside him.
"don't you think it's illegal to break into someone else's house?" the younger's said, stealing a package of snack from jaehyun's hands, munching it down without sparing the owner of it a glance.
