A/N: This is a quick birthday special for the pomeranian, so after this chapter, the story will pick up where it left off. This will be fluff and Katsuki and Izuku have been dating for almost a month.
(Unedited)
Izuku quickly ran back to the campus, his skateboard in one hand and a grocery bag in the other. It was 9:30 pm, and he was past his curfew. He just needed to make a batch of chocolates before tomorrow and he'd be good. Lucky for him, they hadn't locked the dorms up yet. Unlucky for him, Tenya was waiting for him in the common room.
"It's past-" The blue-haired male began.
"Curfew, yeah. I'm aware." Izuku walked past him and into the kitchen, setting the grocery bag down on the counter.
"Why were you out so late? You're normally really good with the curfew." Tenya followed him, leaning against the counter.
"I had to get stuff. And trust me, I have to make it tonight." The greenette pulled the things out of the bag, grabbing a mixing bowl and a silicone spatula as well.
"I'm... not even going to argue with you. Have fun." The strict male walks towards the elevator with a sigh. Izuku doesn't give him a glance as he starts to bake.
Katsuki woke up with his mental alarm, groaning softly at the light coming through the window. He rolled over to grab his phone, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he sees Izuku is already up.
"Nerd, it's 5 am. What're you doing up?" He asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
"Good morning to you too, handsome." The greenette replied, unfazed by how the blonde talked. Katsuki blushed softly, still not used to the pet name.
"You didn't answer my question." He countered as he sat up, a soft yawn parting his jaw.
"Finishing the English essay. It's due before class today." Izuku looked over, giving him a soft smile before looking back at his computer.
"I'm surprised you don't have it done already." Katsuki got up, kissing the greenette's head before sauntering into the bathroom.
"Well, I've had other things to worry about." His voice echoed through the room.
"You worry too much nerd." The blonde retorts as he starts brushing his teeth. He hears his phone vibrate. "Can you see who texted?" He called.
"It's Kiri. He says that they made breakfast for everyone." Izuku walks into the bathroom, setting the phone down on the counter before walking back into the room.
"I'm gonna be surprised if they didn't manage to burn down the kitchen. Or anyone else." Katsuki snorts as he finishes brushing his teeth, walking back into the room. The greenette started talking again, but he tuned him out as he got dressed.
Izuku made his way into the common area with his blonde boyfriend. The lights were off and no one was in sight.
Damn, they really went all out...
"Where the fuck is everyone?" Katsuki asked angrily, walking over and flipping on the lights. Everyone popped out from behind pieces of furniture.
"Happy Birthday!!!" They shouted, Mina setting off a party popper so it sprayed over the blonde. He looked around in a mixture of surprise and frustration. He turned to Izuku.
"I swear if you told them..." He trailed off, the male in question holding his hands up in surrender.
"I swear on my momma I didn't tell them." Izuku placed his hand over his heart to give more of a dramatic effect. The blonde rolled his eyes, pulling confetti out of his hair as he walks into the kitchen, ignoring everyone as they held out presents to him.
The greenette followed behind, chuckling softly at his boyfriend's antics. He walked up to him, hugging him from behind.
"I know it's your birthday, but can you at least try to be a little nicer to everyone?" Izuku asked, kissing the blonde's cheek. He rolled his eyes but agreed nonetheless.
The rest of the day was pretty much the same. Katsuki received gifts from people he didn't even know as he walked the halls. He threw away most of them, as they were all sweets, but he did keep some of the more useful presents. What really pissed him off was that Izuku didn't even mention or show any sign of giving him a present.
That damn nerd knows it's my birthday, and he's an overachiever so I know he got me something.
Katsuki couldn't focus. It was his last class, which also ended up being his most important class, and yet he couldn't focus. He ended up snapping his pencil, which caught everyone's attention.
"Is everything alright Mr. Bakugo?" His teacher asked. Unsurprisingly, he didn't remember her name.
"Yeah, I'm fine." His answer was short and gruff as he glared out the window to his left. The teacher continued the lesson.
Izuku ran around the dorm, frantically setting things up.
Fuck, fuck, fuck! Kacchan's going to be back any minute and I was too caught up in my schoolwork to realize what time it was!
The greenette ended up ditching his idea. He stuffed the box of chocolates he had made the night before into his bag before going down to the common area. He sat on the couch, bringing his knee up as he opened his sketchbook. Just then, the blonde stomped into the dorms.
"He looks angrier than normal." Ochaco thought out loud, her voice barely over a whisper. Tsuyu nodded her head, getting a soft pull from her brunette girlfriend who was currently braiding her hair.
"I wonder why..." Izuku mumbled, watching as Katsuki stomped over to him. "Hey, handsom-" He got cut off as the blonde pulled him to his feet by the collar of his shirt.
"Where's my damn present." He snapped. His face was contorted with anger, and he was beyond pissed. The greenette paused before laughing, bringing his hand up to his boyfriend's face.
"Is that why you're so mad?" Izuku asked, rubbing his thumb along the blonde's cheekbone. He got a curt nod in response. "If you let me go then I'll give you your present." The greenette smoothed his shirt out after Katsuki let go. He grabbed his bag, pulling the box of chocolates out.
"I made them, so they're not too sweet." Izuku smiled softly as the blonde took them. He eyed him warily as he opened the box, hesitantly taking a bite of one of the chocolates. Katsuki's face went through a number of emotions in just a few seconds.
"Did you add chili pepper to these?" He asked, his eyebrow raised. The greenette nodded, smiling wider as his boyfriend ate another one. "Good job teddy bear." Katsuki kissed him before walking away.
"That's not the only present you're getting tonight!" Izuku called after him as he sat down, his cheeks dusted a soft pink as he heard his boyfriend splutter out nonsense before stomping to the elevator.
