"Y/N, love, I'm truly sorry! Marcel just called me with an emergency that I need to handle. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to the appointment with you." Aunt Bekah apologized as she looked at me gesturing to her phone.
"Can't we just go another day? I've been looking forward to you going with me." I asked her as she shook her head.
"I wish we could love, but they're so busy and I had to call in some favors for the appointment today." Aunt Bekah said as she placed her hand on my cheek lovingly.
"I am really sorry. How about I make it up to you by taking you shopping next week?" She asked me with a small smile. My eyebrows join together in confusion because of her sneaky tone.
"Shopping at the mall?" I questioned. She just rolls her eyes as she picks up her bag from the Victorian styled chair by the door.
"Please dear, I would rather dagger myself than be spotted at one of the things," She smiled as she looked at me, "I was thinking more of the french style of retail therapy."
I could feel my whole face light up.
"Are you serious? You're really going to take me to France?" I quickly asked, excitement blooming in my voice.
"I believe every young girl deserves a nice walk through Paris at night," She tells me. I go to open my mouth but she stops me, "and if your mom or dad have anything to say about it, we'll tell them Marcel and I wanted to take you to Virginia to visit an old friend of mine."
I let out a squeal which resulted in Bekah cringing because of her hearing. I muttered a quick apology as I hugged her.
"Well, I don't want to seem rash, but I must be going. Once again, I'm really sorry and will see you when I get back," She kisses me on the forehead, "Love you princess."
She grabs her bag and starts to walk out the door.
"Love you Aunt Bekah, tell Uncle Marcel I say hi." She sends me a smile as she exits the room.
After a moment I let out a sigh and sat on the edge of my bed. The excitement of the France trip in the back of my mind now as I realized I had no one to go with me to my appointment now.
I was thinking of asking Hayley but I remembered her and Uncle Nik are visiting Hope at her boarding school in Mystic Falls, along with Aunts Keelin and Freya who are touring the school for Little Nik. And my mom is away for work for the weekend.
"What's wrong, My Little Terror?" I look up to see my dad walk over to me and kneel in front of me. A look of concern crossing his face as he looks at me.
"Aunt Bekah had to cancel our plans for prom dress shopping today, so I have to go to my appointment by myself today." I sigh as I tell him. My dad looks away angry and stands up.
"How dare she cancel on my daughter? Who does she think she is? What could possibly be more important than you?" He exclaims as he walks around my rooms with his hands thrown in the air.
"Dad, it's ok. Uncle Marcel needed her." I say trying to calm him down.
"I'll dagger him and her if you want." He offers with a scowl on his face, which slowly turns into a playful smile as I glare at him.
"No, I don't want you anywhere near those daggers, you don't have that good of a reputation with them." My father throws his hand over his heart.
"Ouch kid! Where the heck did you get your viciousness from? Clearly it wasn't my side of the family." He says feigning innocence.
"Yes dad, of course. Having the Original hybrid and the Reckless Mikaelson as my uncle and my father has nothing to do with it."
"Clearly not." He says as he brings his hand up to my head and messes up my hair. Swatting his hand away, just earns me a laugh. He stops laughing though after a moment and looks at me as if the greatest idea just came into his mind.
