Haruhi had to sneak out of the facility without being detected to join the other students. What had she just seen? Why was Midoriya there too? Haruhi had so many questions, but now wasn't the time. They had to get back to class and let the faculty deal with the aftermath of the attack. She would talk to Midoriya tomorrow.

Finally it was time to change out and head home. Haruhi wanted to walk home with Bakugo, but she had a lot on her mind and decided to walk home in silence. She made it home as the sun began to set and took a long shower before laying in the darkness of her room to think. She decided to send Midoriya a message asking to talk when he's not busy. Luckily tomorrow was the weekend so she didn't have to worry about trying to talk to him at school with others around.

The next morning Haruhi walked over to Midoriya's house to talk. She had no idea what she was going to say, but she had questions that needed answers. She knocked on the door and his mother answered with a smile. "It's been too long since you've come to visit," she said as she gave Haruhi a warm hug. "Izuku is in his room, you know where it is," she smiled as Haruhi slipped off her shoes and walked down the hall to his room. She knocked lightly on the open door before walking in and taking a seat next to his bed where he was laying, covered in bandages. "I brought you this," she handed him the boba tea she'd picked up before heading over. They used to go get them together at the shop down the street when they were little. He smiled as he sat up. "So, what did you wanna talk about?" He asked, concern in his voice. Haruhi looked over her shoulder to make sure his mother wasn't at the door. "I," she began before taking a deep breath. "I saw something yesterday at the USJ. After the battle," she trailed off, Midoriya's eyes widened. "I saw you on the ground, talking to All Might," Midoriya almost began to shake. "And he- well I guess he," she couldn't find the right words to say. "He didn't really look like All Might," she finally said it. Midoriya sighed and put his head down. "I was worried you were gonna say that," he said quietly. "I guess there's really no getting around it," he looked up at her. "Can you keep a secret?"

He told her about All Might's problem, and about his borrowed quirk. He told her about that day with the sludge villain, and about being All Might's successor. She was speechless. "Who knows?" Is all she could muster up after a few minutes of silence. "Just a few teachers and recovery girl. Oh and principle Nezu," he said quietly. "Wait so your mom doesn't know?" He shook his head. "Kacchan?" He shook his head again. Haruhi leaned back in her chair to take it all in. "Are you going to tell anyone else?" She asked. "No, I can't," he said almost sounding ashamed. "Well why not? Wouldn't you want people to know you're basically All Might's prodigy?" Midoriya looked up at her with all seriousness. "I can't. If people knew that his power could be passed from person to person everyone would be after it. Not just villains," he said. "I see."

"I'm gonna have to tell All Might that you know. I have to trust that you won't tell anyone else." She nodded. "I understand."
