——[B. Leave a letter for Lemuel]

You decided to leave a letter for Lemuel.

You can't open the door, you can't, saying goodbye to Lemuel in person is like dressing a wound and tearing the bandage off. You've already prepared for the unexpected, and there aren't many things that needed to be added now, it won't take long.

You write in your letter where you're going, about the resurrection and relics, and write about how far your invented transformative prayer could go. That brief camouflage is enough for him to avoid the crowds, and as long as he was careful, he could continue living on in the more sparsely populated areas. There's still room for improvement for prayer. You've written down the main points. If he can find a cleric who's willing to cooperate, Lemuel will one day be able to live as normal among humans. There's actually many problems and countless things to worry about but you force yourself not to think about it.

You must go back.

When you returned to the Western Holy See, the people who greeted you were overjoyed and didn't question your identity or the reason for leaving. "His Majesty the Pope can't wait any longer!" They urged, leading you into the sacrificial room. You didn't see the Pope, but some of your bones were indeed quickly used on His Majesty the Pope.

Your story ended on that day.

The world continues on.

His Majesty the Pope was hearty again, and the day he reappeared on the terrace, cheers almost overfilled from the square. The hosts were all smiles and more or less relieved, celebrating the passing of a storm. Politicians who had been keeping suspiciously silent a few days ago once again bowed their heads to the obelisk of the Western Holy See. Among the festive crowd, all tears and sighs disappeared like a gust of wind in the blink of an eye.

On this year's Christmas, the seven newborn sons came to the Holy See, and these ignorant babies will be brought up ten times- a hundred times more carefully than before. They'll never be hurt, they'll never be coaxed by outsiders, and they'll never have a chance to leave.

A small town lost a reliable priest, it took a week to find out that he wasn't temporarily gone, but had disappeared completely. Concerned residents of the town reported this horrific case, believing that it must've been the work of the devil. "Almost a year ago, there was a demon alarm!" Says the nearby believers, "Lord, that devil must've attacked the good priest!"

The police who received the report didn't dare to neglect it, but the Holy See didn't intend to investigate thoroughly. Later, it was said that the young and promising priest was only urgently transferred, the believers needn't worry, talks of demons were complete nonsense. The new priest was quickly transferred and moved into the former priest's house. He's an ordinary clergyman, his capabilities are mediocre, and his knowledge of demons and prayers are limited to ramblings. Even though he noticed strange runes and scratches, he didn't know what it meant.

The Holy See said that there were no dangerous demons in the town. Residents were relieved, and some people who met suspicious figures shortly after the priest disappeared just thought they were paranoid.

Over the years, some veterans died tragically one after another for unknown reasons. After investigation, all of the victims had served in the 9th Infantry Division and the 28th Marine Regiment, and most of them were soldiers of Company A. The military wasn't able to bring the murderers to justice, and the protected survivors became mentally ill under the pressure, insisting that their comrades died because of "that devil's revenge."

The mercenary "Undead" was born in the war-torn areas in the south, he became famous for its outstanding courage and ability. It's difficult to distinguish his actions between right and wrong. Apart from being happy to cause trouble for the Holy See, it seems that he's only there to collect money for tasks. People who've seen him work harbour lingering fears. They felt that he wasn't human, that humans can't do what the Undead could do. "I'd rather believe he's a human-like demon," They say.

Of course they aren't serious. Everyone knows that even the most advanced demons were just powerful beasts without brains, that mercenary wasn't just as ruthless as a wolf, but also as cunning as a fox, escaping from traps time and time again. He was obviously a clever veteran. Using words such as "monster", "devil", "death" to describe the strong man who's so proficient in killing was just purely metaphorical. That mercenary calls himself Undead, did he really die once? Everyone knows it's impossible. Those who swore that "Undead" has sharp claws and tails just either misread the tiger and the cloak, or were scared witless. Only fools believe them.

A major event ten years later seemed to further prove the hilariousness of the statement: "Undead is a demon".

"Undead" played an important role in another major movement of the Liberation Front, silently walking through prayer-filled corridors and sanctuaries, placing a large amount of explosives in the right places. After he opened a gap, the avalanche that had been delayed for ten years finally broke out.

This day would undoubtedly go down in history and will be remembered for decades and maybe even centuries to come. When human armies began to exchange fire with humans, when the magnificent palace collapsed amongst the heat and noise, the fuse had already left the center of the incident. He walked into the sun, amongst the crowd, with your remaining bones inside a suitcase.

"Good morning," He whispers, looking back at the blazing fires against the sky, "Let's go, Enoch."

Whether there's heaven or not, whether you can still go to heaven or not, you can no longer see anything on this Earth. But if you saw him- saw how he came to you through the thorns and took you away- you wouldn't be too surprised. Lemuel is very kind, you already know.
