____"It's... It's because of my girlfriend," Hank stammered in front of a bunch of microphones.
It all happened because Hank fought with his girlfriend.
No, the reason is that a foreigner opened a bakery here.
A year ago, two out-of-towners came to town and planned to open a bakery in the newly built development zone. The bread and desserts they sell are delicious, and the manager is a middle-aged, good-looking man who made all the teenage girls wander around the bakery all day long. Hank couldn't stand it anymore, he complained to his girlfriend, but his girlfriend said he didn't know how to appreciate it, she said, "He's older than you but more handsome than you are!"
So they quarrelled, asking from: "Is the bakery manager handsome or not?" to arguing to "The last time you wore a shirt with pizza sauce on a date" until it finally got out of hand. His girlfriend told him she wanted to break up. Hank got angry and wandered outside the bakery until night, waiting to block that manager after closing, and teach him a lesson. Hank imagined hundreds of times in his mind the scene where he'd grab the manager's neck and say harsh words. He finally waited until the bakery closed off and the clerk left.
A red-haired man followed behind the store manager locking the store door behind him, and the two left together. Hank tried hard to recall and remembered that another out-of-towner, the baker of this shop, lived with the manager.
The middle-aged pretty-faced store manager spoke softly, looking at his delicate skin and tender muscles, there was a large probability that he had never fought since childhood. As for Hank, he likes basketball and is physically strong. He can beat two store managers on his own, but the baker was a tall man with muscles in his arms that could be seen through his shirt- man, this bakery's grill must be super heavy! ——He stood beside the store manager, like a bodyguard, making Hank feel anxious. Hank hesitated for a long time, he didn't dare to go forward yet he was unwilling to leave, following them to a nearby convenience store. As the saying goes, when people are unlucky, they'll bump and stick their teeth even when drinking water. Not long after Hank entered the convenience store, they encountered a devil.
All because of that damn baker.
The bakery is built in the new development zone, the town is remote, so the development zone is even more remote. The convenience store where the manager went after closing is next to them on the road. In the middle of the night, a car appeared on the highway, and a group of demons ran down from the car. they had horns on their heads and guns in their hands, shouting indiscriminately: "Hand over your valuables!" "We're demons!" "We robbed the bank!"
A clerk screamed and was knocked unconscious, and the remaining clerks and all the customers in the store (that is, Hank and the bakery duo) were locked in the storage room, The group of demons cheered and started a party in the convenience store.
"Are they going to eat us?" the still awake clerk said tearfully.
Hank didn't want to talk, Hank wanted to cry too. That's the devil! It had only been twenty years since the end of "Hell's Disaster". People under the age of twenty had never seen a demon but grew up listening to the horror stories of demons. Their fangs could crush bone, their claws could split steel, they can breathe fireballs, and can eat human flesh. They were like locusts wherever they went, even though the gates of hell closed, no one can ensure that no fish slipped through the net. The elders kept admonishing them, and the TV station warned all year round so the young people were all irrationally frightened of the devil. It was akin to monsters suddenly appearing under their bed.
There were five people in the storage room, one was lying unconscious on the ground, and the four were sitting in a circle and tied with a string. The female clerk that was in her twenties was pale, and Hank forced himself to remain calm.
