Battle for to love part 2

"I'll take the Scythe witch," Kazehana says, blasting a strong wind at Number Fourteen.

Number Forty-Eight immediately charges Akitsu, giving the two Sekirei a rematch. That leaves Haruhime and Yahan to pick either Number 106 or 58.

Yahan moves into a shadow cast by a nearby building before reappearing in the shadow of Number 106. She tries to end it quickly with a dagger thrust, but misses as the girl dodges to the side.

"Hey, no fair, lady!” 106 says in a pouty tone, as if Yahan just cheated at a board game. “You’re supposed to tell me your name first. I'm Number 106, Shijime."

Yahan stares at the girl, looking a little bit annoyed. I can somewhat understand why: the opponent she’s chosen is an immature child, but she introduces herself nonetheless. "Number 57 Yahan, the Sekirei of darkness."

Shijime charges at Yahan as her sleeves flatten and stretch in a large paddle-like shape. She tries slapping Yahan, but she sinks into a shadow cast by a nearby house. This of course causes Shijime to miss her attack and smack into a bush.

With Yahan fighting 106, that left 58 for Haruhime. The blue haired Sekirei points her Tessen at the young dark-skinned girl. As she declares her name and number, 58 attacks while saying that she was Number 58, Kuzuri.

The now named Kuzuri jumps into the air, and precedes to come down on Haruhime with an axe kick. As Haruhime blocks the kick, the sound of metal is heard as her tessen makes contact with Kuzari's heel. Haruhime's block causes her to backflip by propelling herself off the impact. As her body turns in the air, I notice her heels are inch long metal spikes. She was a foot type Sekirei with a dangerous edge.

She lands on her hands, using her weight she lunges back towards Haruhime. This causes Haruhime to jump back, narrowly missing a stab to the gut with the spiked heels.
Unlike her sisters Akitsu has her opponent on the defensive as she throws volley after volley of icicles at Kujika. The dark skinned girl dodges with relative ease, but constant flow of icicles makes it hard for her to get in for an attack.

Akitsu then changes her tactic just slightly as she makes a trail of ice that snakes its way towards Kujika, as the icicle volley continues. Kujika jumps into the air, and slams down on the ice trail with her left elbow. The ice shatters as she quickly flips to her feet, before charging at Akitsu.

I look to my unofficial Sekirei to see Kazehana just playing with her opponent. She had moved her battle just slightly down the road from where I was standing. She was letting 14 charge at her, just to blast her back. It's clear that 14 was very annoyed by her actions. I figure Kazehana knew the urgency of the situation, but I could tell she was having some fun playing with her food. I know 14 wasn't much of a threat to Kazehana, so I decide to turn my focus back to my own Sekirei.

Yahan was continuing her hit and run tactics against Shijime. The young Sekirei was just jumping around while trying to smack Yahan with her paddle-like sleeves. It was clear she was a cloth type much like Uzume, although due to her much younger age she had a lot less control then Uzume.
Despite Yahan's ability to move quickly between Shadows, Shijime seemed to be avoiding her attacks with relative ease. I could feel Yahan's annoyance at this little girl who was seemingly getting the best of her. Even though I couldn't sense Shijime's emotions, I could tell that this was nothing but a game to her. It was blatantly obvious but she was treating her battle with Yahan as a game of high-stakes tag.
