"-Portal?!" Mai said, not able to believe his eyes. In the middle of the living room was a Portal, floating in the air. Beyond the Portal, he could see a very thick forest. The smell of trees and grass was coming out of it as well. He just stood there, mouth hanging open. Aura chuckled a little, finding his reaction amusing. "Earth to Mai~ You there?~" She asks, snapping her fingers in front of his face. Mai flinched in surprise and blinked a few times, looking at Aura. "Is this... for real?" "for real," she answered, walking to the portal. "Now stop standing there and come through the portal" Mai got filled with excitement, nodding and following his wife.

They both went through the portal and were greeted by the sound of leaves gently rustling. He was a bit overwhelmed, still not coming to terms with the fact that this was an entirely different world.  He noticed that the trees were quite tall and let only a little bit of light through. A rustle came from a nearby bush and Mai instinctively looked at it. He expected a monster to come out since they were in a different world and all. But to his surprise, a horned rabbit was coming out. Mai let out a sigh of relief, glad that it wasn't a Monster. Suddenly, the horned rabbit launched itself towards Mai who fell onto his butt in surprise. Aura quickly casts a fireball and burned the horned rabbit before it made contact with Mai. "Be careful. There is no such thing as a friendly Monster in this world." "R-right..." Mai answered, still shocked.

It had been a few hours now from when they first arrived in this world. They walked and walked and walked but the forest didn't seem to have an end. "Aura?~~ We've been walking for hours!~~ can't we rest a little?~~" Mai moaned in exhaustion. He doesn't have much stamina when it comes to walking for a long time. "Fine. let's sit down on those boulders over there." Aura suggested, pointing to the boulders a few steps away from them. Just as they were getting close, an arrow whiffed past them.

"If you both take one more step, the next one goes through your head!"
