Ch-20 The Labyrinth

"And last but not least, Chloe!" Rimuru called for Chloe to come to her side. She had already cycled through all the kids and the only one left was Chloe.

Chloe walked over to her and stood beside her. She was blushing a bit. "Um.. Rimuru sensei.."

Rimuru bent down and looked at the little girl. "What is it, Chloe ?"

"I.. I love you.." This made Rimuru smile. "I love you too, Chloe."

Shizu heard this and giggled. She wasn't expecting Chloe t0 fall for Rimuru. She looked at Ramiris with a close eyed smile. "I'll help you right after this, okay ?"

The spirit queen excitedly nodded at the thought of getting her true power back. She couldn't wait to go and tease Dino. Dino always used to tease and Monck her for being weak. He enjoyed annoying her but once she's gained her true power again, she will be a catastrophe class entity on par with Guy Crimson.

Rimuru placed her hand on Chloe's head and summoned the spirit. Although, the ground shook and I looked around in confusion. Ramiris was also startled by this sudden change. Rimuru looked at the centre which was now glowing and the light took up the form of a beautiful girl. Her eyes widened in realisation as she recognised who that woman was and smiled.

Suddenly, time was stopped. No one but Rimuru and the spirit could move or talk. But that girl was, was no mere spirit. She was a Manas.

Rimuru smiled sweetly at her. "It's been so long since I've seen you again, Hero Chronoa!"

She smiled at her and hugged Rimuru tightly. She's supposed to be intangible but Rimuru can still touch her normally. "I'm missed you.. I've been waiting for you to come back..."

Rimuru giggled at her. The Hero Chronoa, also know as Chloe, was the first and only human to ever gain Rimuru's respect. She was the first human that she ever trusted and befriended. So seeing her again like this, made her heart flutter. Now her suspicions were confirmed. Chloe was indeed Chronoa.

Rimuru would have said something but she was silenced as Manas Chronoa placed her lips onto hers. The two of them kissed for a few seconds and then Chronoa pulled back, slowly entering Chloe's body. "I've been waiting to do that for a long time..."

And then right after that, time was suddenly resumed. Everyone looked in confusion. Shizu was about to ask Rimuru what had happened but then noticed that she was blushing a lot, a sweet smile spread across her face. "Um.. Rimuru ?"

"It's nothing Shizu. It all went well. Chloe is safe now, I can guarantee that." Chloe looked up at me in joy but then it was soon replaced by a look of slight surprise. This was because Chloe had suddenly gained a small portion of her future selfs memories. She looked up at her teacher with wide eyes as Rimuru smiled at her. This made Chloe smile happily. "She already knows... I'm so happy."

Alright Ramiris! It's your turn now!" To say that the spirit queen was happy was an understatement. She was flying around everywhere in excitement. Rimuru creates a magic circle in her hand as she gets ready to revive the spirit queen btu something, or rather someone, shows up.

Before anyone could react, Rimuru was stabbed through the chest with a blade the thickness of a monitor. All of the students and Shizu looked on in shock and worry. "Rimuru!/Rimuru sensei!"

Ramiris looked at the attacker and her eyes widened as she recognised who the attacker was. "Ivis! What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
