Dinner

Arianna's POV

As I met back up with the boys, Hobi handed me a pair of heels. "Can you trade out your shoes for these?" He asks

" Why would I need to trade out my shoes?" I ask

" Well, we are meeting the guys for a private dinner to celebrate you getting your own apartment, but the restaurant is very fancy and being dressed up is required." Tae explains

I take the shoes from Hobi and say, " You guys didn't have to do that, we could have ordered pizza and celebrated."

" No, we want to go out and celebrate your accomplishments. You making a stand on what you want, and what your going to do. It is making us so proud. We are very happy to not only call you our friend, but our sister." Jimin tells me firmly

I feel tears rush to my eyes with his words. I am having a hard time believing that they feel that way, but the love I feel outpouring from them makes me believe it.

"Okay, but my hair is a wreck. Can I at least brush it first?" I ask laughing

They all start laughing with me and pull me toward the direction of a salon. " Can you fix her hair however she wants while we get dressed?" Tae inquired

" Of course, madam please come with me." The stylist says

As I go with him, I have a thought. " Can you cut my hair? I have always wanted a pixie hairstyle, but my ex-husband always wanted me to maintain my long, straight hair." I ask

" If that is what you want, then that is what your going to get! To hell with men who tell women what to do with their hair and bodies!!!" He states loudly

I giggle and repeat, "to hell with men who tell women what to do!! I make my own choices!!"

He laughs out loud and invites me to sit down. He doesn't even ask if I'm sure, he just makes one big cut and I watch the hair fly to the floor. After some cutting, washing, and styling, he begin to do my makeup telling me I am too gorgeous to let anyone tell me how to look. Once he is finshed he spins me around and I stare in shock at my hair. I see he has gone with a natural makeup look which makes me happy since I don't wear any normally, but my hair is everything I have ever wanted.

"I........ I love it!!!!" I squeal in happiness " you have no idea how long I have wanted to do away with all that hair!"

" Do me a favor love, dont let anyone else tell you how to look. You do you, and do what makes you happy." He says " come see me anytime you wanna change it up, I got you girl!"

I jump up and hug him, surprising him in the process. " thank you, thank you!" I exclaimed " How much do I owe you?" I ask

"Nothing, I find happiness in women who take back what is their's and owning it. You have made me very happy today." He tells me

I smile and thank him one more time, promising I will be back and run out to meet the guys. As I approach them, I see them stare at me in shock.

" You, you cut your hair!" Jimin says in disbelief

I giggle and nod, " I have always wanted to cut it off and David wouldn't allow it. I decided I was tired of taking care of all that hair, and wanted it gone. So here I am now. What do you think?" I ask nervously

" You were always beautiful, but with this new haircut, you are breathtaking" Tae exclaimed "I cannot wait to see Hyung's reaction."

The boys grab my hands and the bags I had left and we headed to the car to meet the others.

Yoongi's POV

As we sit at the table I am impatiently waiting for my soulmate. This has been the longest we have been apart since she arrived and I'm feeling anxious.

"They are parking the car Hyung, Jimin just texted me and said wait until we see Ari." JK says

As I begin to wonder what he means by that, I feel a tingle in my wrist and look toward the door. I feel my heart drop to my feet and my breath taken away. She is standing there laughing at whatever Tae said to her. She is dressed in this white lacy dress and heels, but importantly her hair is cut off.

"I didn't know the guys were gonna have her cut her hair" Joon says whispering

" Me either, I asked them to go easy on her this morning." Jin says

I can't simply do anything as I see her walk toward me. She can see me staring at her and I watch as she beams at me.  There is this radiating happiness coming from her. I can tell that her being with the guys today, has brought her so much joy. I continue to stare at her as the other three compliment her new look and I am tongue tied. She glances at me and takes her seat. I can feel her hoping I will say something, but I can't get my mouth to work.

Jin had decided earlier what we were all eating tonight. So we began to stuff ourselves as Ari and the guys talked about their day. She tells us how annoyed she was that the guys bought her a bunch of stuff and that she decided last minute cut her hair off.

After we have finished dinner, Joon decides on one final toast, " To Ari, my new best friend, I wish you eternal happiness and peace. May you continue to make all the best choices for you and know everyone at this table has your back" we all agree and finish our drinks.

As we are walking outside I walk next to Ari and grab her hand pulling her to a stop. I decide to follow my heart and grab her in a hug. I pull back some and tell her " You look beautiful, I'm sorry I couldn't say it earlier. I was all tongue tied by how you look."

She smiles softly at me and I lean in to leave a small kiss on her forehead, feeling the calmest I have ever been.
