Chapter 5

*Back to Navi's pov*

The sun is finally up after a long night. Navi couldn't wait for today, it took a lot for him to even fall asleep last night.
Their alarm clock went off like it usually does and Navi woke up. It was like a nice feeling whenever they got up to make themselves breakfast.
Okay so our date isn't until 4:20pm.
That mean I have all day to get ready. I mean it's only 10:30am right now so what do I do in the mean time?

Navi decided to make themselves some French toast. They took out the eggs, bread, cinnamon and sugar. Put the pan on low heat, sprayed the pan and started to get the ingredients mixed. Xe whisked the eggs together with cinnamon then chopped the bread to their perfect size. After that they took the bread pieces and dipped them in the eggs, then cooked the egged-bread. After it was all cooked they sprinkled a bit of sugar and poof. Navi's breakfast was done.
Navi ate the most delicious breakfast ever. Today was going to be a great day.

Since Navi had hours before the date, they decided to get everything ready. Then after that decided to hop on discord.
*Big booty Judy was now online*

"NAVIIIII 🥺🥺🥺🥺👹👹👹"

"Hiii bbg :]"

"OOo someone's in a good mood, what's the event?"

"How did you even know-?"

"Well you've been venting about a certain boy in the positive section, so I'm assuming you told him how you feel?"

"I forgot you were in that server 😨, but no I haven't told him anything yet. Butttt we are going on a date today."

"WOOOOO YOU'RE ALL GROWN UP I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, YOU'RE GOING ON A DATE WITH A CUTE GUY"
"At least I'm assuming he's cute.."

"Well technically it's not a date but he did ask me out for a Taco date."

"HAHA BYE A TACO DATE HJKIWH💀"
*Big booty Judy is now offline*

"WHAT?!"
"WHAT'S WRONGVWITH IT?"
"JUDY?"
"BBG!?"
"WOWWWW smh😭"

Navi decided to get off of discord for now and start doing something else. Like the gift Eren gave them, Navi was going to draw for a bit.
This can keep me busy while I wait.

Okay now it's 3:40pm and I should probably get ready.

*Navi took a fresh shower put on their clothes they picked out and waited until it was near time.*

Ding dong!
The front doorbell went off and Navi was a bit startled.
Oh god it's time..

Navi walked up to the front door and looked through the keyhole. There he stood, Eren Yeager. With his dark brown hair in a man bun with a few strand out, his gray jacket with an open black vest on top, and his dark gray pants. This man was too fine.

Navi opened up their door to let him in.
He smelt like dirt but oh well, let him smell like mother nature.
"Well hello there Eren," Navi says.
"Hello!" He say it in a warm comforting tone.
"Well shall we get on with out date? It's my treat after all."
"Yeah sure! Let's go," Navi says with joy.

Navi shuts and locks their apartment door behind them and begins to follow right next to Eren. Almost touching hands ;).
Though it would've been nice to know Eren before all of this, Navi was really happy to hang out with him for the night.
He seems like a pretty chill person, maybe this is their time to get closer to Eren.

Eren opened the door for Navi and they both load up in his truck. Since the restaurant wasn't that far from the apartment complex it wasn't an awkward ride there, in fact they talk a lot about each other. They talked about their courses, what teachers they hated and liked, their best friends and a few more things. There was even an attempt at talking about future plans.
He seems really sweet and looks really happy when he talks about his friends..
*Well now the truck drive has come to a halt and they're now at the restaurant*

They both get out of the truck walking side to side kinda like a couple.
"So uh have you ever had this kind of Mexican food?" Navi asked.
"Does Taco bell count?"
...
"No Eren Taco bell doesn't count."
All you can hear is damn it being muttered under his breath.
"You're telling me you've never had Tacos outside of Taco bell? Wow-" Navi laughs at Eren's dumb remark.
"Listen I-" Eren is shortly cut off by the waitress.
"Hello sir where would you like to sit?"
"Uh anywhere is fine, just a table para dos."
...
Awkward silence because Eren attempted to speak Spanish.
..
"Uh. I- yeah just a table for two.."
The waitress nods and points you to your seat.
Navi can't help but giggle at Eren for doing what he just did.
Now the both sitting down at a really cool looking restaurant. The decor has vibrant colors, every now and then you can spot sugar skulls.
Woah-
"So what would you like to drink sir?"
"I'll take a coke anddd Navi what would you like to drink?"
"I'll take a Sprite."
"Alright so a Coke and a Sprite. Alright I'll be right back with your drinks, is there an appetizer you'd like until your meal is here?"
"Él pan?"
Both the waitress and Navi look at Eren dumbstruck.
"Sir you mean bread? Or do you just want something else?"
Eren really is using highschool Spanish at a Mexican restaurant I can't-
...
"You know what, we'll just take some tortilla chips and salsa."
"Alrighty sir so a Coke, Sprite, and some chips/salsa. Is that correct?"
"Yes ma'am.."
"I'll be back as soon as possible sir!!"

*AWWW I HATE TO END THIS BUT I HAVE TO. IT GETS BETTER I PROMISE. EREN SPEAKING SPANISH IS SO FUNNY TO ME SO I HOPE YOU LIKE IT. btw 'para dos' means 'for two' and 'èl pan' is 'the bread' just in case no one knew.*
