Day 3

I want to tell Neio i like them. i really do but it's only day three- how can i be so sure-?

"Wake up sleep head!" I heard neio yelling as i was shook awake
"what time is it" i grumbled
"9:00am!" Neio cheered trying to get me to sit up "mmmm i want more sleep" i said curling up into a ball and covering myself with the blanket
"your like a cat-" neio said giggling to themselves "mmm" i grumbled putting the blanket over my head
"hmmm" neio hummed
"hey Finn? can you wake up so we can go eat, and get your sleepy self some water" Neio said in a soft and sweet voice,
"mmm" i mumbled and nodded softly
"okay good, let's get this blanket of your handso - i uh-face" Neio blushed pulling the blanket off my face slowly

i sat up slowly with neio helping me. I processed what happened and hid my face
"Uhm- im-im fine now im up-" I said flustered. neio backed away
"okay finn just please get ready ill be outside the cabin door" Neio said walking outside

omg he just called me handsome- or well they almost did- oh god- i should listen to him and get up

i heard a knock at the door
"come in!" i shouted brushing through my hair. Neio walked in to check on me. They smiled
"You got up and ready! im so proud! good job finn!" I smiled the biggest stupidest smile ever- "thank you!" i said
"no problem" Neio smiled back
"are you done? so we can get you a water? Breakfast is over so we can wait till lunch" Neio said
"yeah come on let's go" i said grabbing his hand "ah sorry-"
"no it's fine im not complaining" Neio started "might wanna stop holding hands if you don't want Elliot to see" Neio whispered laughing, i laughed back.

It was about lunchtime and of course i went with neio, We got our food and sat with Leo and Maria "oh hey guys!" Leo said
"Hey Leo hi maria!" I cheered back
"hello leo and maria" Neio said
Maria sat there eating quietly i wanted to ask what was bothering her but Neio wanted me to drink more water and started talking to me so i forgot
"Hey finn?" Maria said
"hm?" i hummed taking a bite of my sandwich "do you like someone?" Maria asked out of the blue, not gonna lie i choked on my sandwich i took a sip of water as neio instructed
"oh uhm- sorry i just wasn't expecting that-" i answered kinda nervous i can't tell her in front of my crush "and to answer maybe-" I continued "ooooh who!" leo said
"i don't want to tell them yet so be patient leo-" i said
"hmph fine but what's your sexuality so i can get my theories" Leo asked
"im bi" i laughed
"hm okay" leo suspected

After lunch me and neio kinda just walked around talking
"so who is your crush? surely you'll tell me" They said putting a hand on their chest
"uhm-" He cut me off
"if it makes you uncomfortable to tell me you don't have to finn" i nodded
"maybe i'll tell you some other day just not today im a bit overwhelmed" I answered
"okay ill respect it. Im just glad- Maria? was it?" I nodded
"im just glad Maria didn't ask me who my crush was" Neio said
"hm why?" i asked
"well my crush was at the table so it was just scary" Neio said looking down hiding their face "oh really?" i asked in shock what if its me?? but their omni it could be anyone at that table hm "yeah" he laughed
"agh it getting late we should head inside" I said "alright let's go" Neio said grabbing my hand and holding it-

"Neio? Finn?" Elliot said looking between our hands and faces
"sorry we got back late we were walking and lost track of time" Neio said not letting go of my hand "it's okay just try and keep track of time next time, i could lose my job having campers out so late" Elliot said
"Sorry Elliot" I said
"Yeah what he said Sorry Elliot" Neio smiled
"it's okay guys now pretend to be asleep" Elliot said fluffing up our hair
"night campers!" Elliot continued before leaving "pssst Neio" i whispered
"hm?" Neio hummed
"come up here" I whispered.
"mm no you come here" Neio hummed
"okay" i climbed down the ladder to Neios bed and sat down on the bed
"lay with me" Neio said
"uh- what-?" I asked shocked
"lay down with me" Neio clarified
"uhm okay" i said laying down next to them
"is it okay if i put my arms around you?" Neio asked. i nodded shyly. I felt Neio smile and wrap their arms around me.
"hey Fi-" Leo said getting out of bed seeing me and Neio
"uhm- hi-hi leo-" I said flustered. i tried to get up but neio tightened his arms around me
"uhm- i can't get up-" I said
"that's fine ill help you once they fall asleep" leo giggled to itself
"it's not funny" i pouted trying not to be to loud "ahh yes it is" leo laughed grabbing their phone and talking a picture. Neio held me tighter
"hey leo- go lay down your going to wake them up" I said wanting Leo to just not tease me then "okay i will" Leo backed up going to their bed.

"i think im in love with you" i whispered to neio quietly hoping he would be asleep enough that they wouldn't hear me
"me too" Neio whispered back sleepily  i froze what do i do-? i just confessed to the person i like and they said me too?! i have to get out of their arms but i don't want to-
"uhm neio?" i said playing with their hair god it was soft-
"hm?" he hummed sleepily
"can i go back to my bed" I asked still messing with their hair. Neio paused, looked at me, and nodded
"thank you" I said
"mhm" neio hid his face.

I went back to my bed flustered out of my mind.
i wanted to stay in their arms- maybe ill talk to elliot tomorrow about my feelings in all
