Your Perspective

I sat meditating in my house, considering there was little I had thought to do today. Makoto-san said that there wasn't anything that she thought to do, and Ei said roughly the same thing. I tried to keep an empty mind whilst meditating, but every so often my thoughts drift to certain beautiful lilac clad woman. Shaking those thoughts away, I stood up and went to the back, heading outside, taking in some air as I pondered over my thoughts. I'm not sure what to do. Its been a while since we've been friends and I am afraid that were I to attempt to court or pursue her in a relationship that . . . she might deny my advances. Sighing, I rested my head in my hands, still wracking my mind on what to do.

"Love is a funny thing isn't (Y/N)?" I said to myself, before I looked out and scanned my surroundings. Seeing something peculiar, I glanced over to where my polearm was noting that some flowers had bloomed on them. A little confused, I used my Electro abilities to pull it over and inspect it. Noticing that these flowers would pop up when I used said abilities, I decided to try and create more of them, but I only came up with some petals. I suppose being sealed in that tree having it constantly siphon my Electro away, led to me absorbing some of its Dendro abilities. For good measure, I picked up one of the flowers to inspect later when I heard a knock on the door.

"I'm on my way, hold on please!" I called. Upon opening the door, I was met with Ei. She had sought me out, noting that she thought it would be nice to perhaps spend a little time together considering not much of note is going on today.

"Oh all right. I don't mind the company." I said, welcoming her in to my abode.

"Is there anything I can get for you? Tea? A meal? My cooking isn't the best but-"

"No, no. I am very much fine, though thank you for offering." She says, waving away my offers with a small smile on her place. She takes a seat, noting that the house was very comfortable and rather welcoming as she took in her surroundings. Her eyes laid on a portrait painting of us that we got a few days ago in order to commemorate our friendship.

"Why thank you, I decorated it myself." I said grinning nervously, sitting across from Ei. I realized that I still had the flower in my hand. Seeing a bit of an opportunity, I presented it to her, stunning her.

"I-I discovered these flowers growing a-and figured they remined me of you so I thought I s-should gift you one, heh." I said smoothly. I felt myself blushing at this, as her face flushed a light pink as she accepted my gift. Shaking away the doubts, I knew what course of action i could take.

"Thank you for this. I must admit, it is a rather beautiful flower."

"Just like you." I said flirtatiously.

She was bashful at this, waving me off sheepishly as she put the flower in her hair.

"Oh hush you. C-Cease with your compliments."

"Well, its hard to when they're all true." I said winking at her, deepening her blush to a shade of scarlet.

"In addition to that, I'm sure you don't mind them, no?" I said, chuckling before closing my eyes. I was about to continue, but right before I could I felt someone sit on my lap.

"Well- mmph!"

I'm cut off by Ei tenderly putting hands on cheeks and pulling me in closing the gap between us. Just as quickly as it was started, it had ended. Pulled away, sheepishly retracting her hands and glancing away for me.

"I apologize, it was a spur of the moment thing. I-"

"I-I didn't mind it in all honesty. It was rather welcome."

"Is that so? Would you happen to also harbor feelings for me?"

I nodded, causing a smile to form across her face. A kiss is softly placed on my cheek, before she moves and whispers into my ear.

"Would you then, be willing to be my lover?"

"I would love to."
