Being in love with somebody you can't have
it's such a bittersweet feeling
one part of you is glad that you get to see if they're okay without you
but the other part?
it tears you to pieces
the very thought of them falling for someone else is like a knife in your heart
every day dream about them is like a cigarette burn
That would never stop you from manifesting, though
no matter how hard the nights get
no matter how many playlists you make
no matter how much you weep for them
you can always pray
pray to your Gods that one day they will be yours
and the thought of that is comfort enough
for me at least
