I'll Never Leave ( Jake x Sean )

Monday

It's Monday yet again, oh how the weekend goes by so fast. Jake is trying to get ready to go to school, but at the same time, he doesn't want to, he knows he'll bump into one of his friends...if he could even call them that anymore. And he also doesn't want to talk to his "homies", he feels like he could never forgive them from what they did.

Jake's P.O.V:
Wow, does the weekend have to go by so fast? I don't even think I wanna go to school. What will I do if I bump into one of the music club members? What will I say if I bump into the guys? Ugh! I don't wanna go to school... but I have no choice.

After a while, Jake finally reached the school.

Jake: Well...here goes nothing.
He says quietly.

As Jake was walking through the hallway, he still can't stop replaying the horrible day that has happened in his head.

Jake's P.O.V:
Everything seems to be going good so far, I can't see the guys or the music club members anywhere. That's a relief... I guess.

Because of Jake's overthinking, he doesn't seem to be keeping an eye on where he's going. I guess we could say the same with Sean...

As Sean was walking through the hallway, he is also replaying the tragic day in his head, and listening to his favorite music doesn't seem to be helping.

As Sean was walking, he accidentally bumped into someone. Sean looked to see who it is, and was surprised to see the peach haired boy with dark blue jacket was there, it's Jake.

Jake doesn't seem to realize it's one of the music club members.

Jake: Ugh what the- S-SEAN!

Jake said with a very surprised voice.

Sean: Oh uh...h-hey, Jake...

It was silent for a while, them just standing there looking at each other was quite awkward for them.

After a while, Jake heard the school bell ring.

Jake's P.O.V:
Phew! Saved by the bell... This is exactly what I didn't want to happen.

Sean: H-Hey, Jake, I-

Jake: I-I'm sorry, Sean, I have to go, I'm gonna be late.

He says with a shaky voice.

As Sean was about to say something, it was already too late, Jake already walked away.

Sean's P.O.V:
Gosh, I should probably watch where I'm going... don't want that to happen again.

As Jake was walking into his classroom, he saw Drew next to his seat.

Jake's P.O.V:
Oh right, I sit next to Drew... (sigh) Just calm down, Sterling, just don't say anything, you don't want to make the situation worse.

Jake sat next to Drew, he tries not to make eye contact, and tries to ignore him.

Drew: Oh hey, Jake.

Drew greets.

Jake did not respond.

Drew: Jake...

Jake: ...

Drew: JAKE!

Jake couldn't stand Drew's bothering any longer.

Jake's P.O.V:
(sigh) Let's just get this over with.

Jake: Oh uh sorry, Drew, what was that?

Drew: hmm What's gotten your head up in the clouds today?

Jake's P.O.V:
You're acting like you don't know?

Jake: Oh uh I-It's nothing, it's just that... It has been an awful weekend.

Drew: Why?

Drew asked playing dumb.

Jake's P.O.V:
Does he seriously don't know?

Jake: Nothing... I don't wanna talk about it.

Drew: Why? Did you have a problem with your little freak friends?

Jake's P.O.V:
Wait! What!? Now I'm certain he's the one who sent them the recording of me.

Jake: Let's just say I have a problem with them... I still don't wanna talk about it.

Drew: Tsk fine... (smirks)

Drew's P.O.V:
Well...seems like everything is going according to plan, he won't be with those freaks anytime soon. Drew, you are a genius.

In Class

While in class, Jake doesn't seem to be paying attention to what his teacher is talking about. He can't keep his eyes off Hailey and the others at the other side of the room.

Jake's P.O.V:
A-Are they ok? They don't seem like they're upset. Do they still need me? Will everything be fixed? Drew is probably the one who sent them the recording of me saying... you know. Will they ever forgive me?

All these questions keeps on going on and on in his mind.

Teacher: Jake...

Jake's P.O.V:
Did all the things I said really that bad?

Teacher: Jake!

Jake's P.O.V:
Ugh of course it is, I even mentioned Hailey's stage fright.

Jake is way too deep in his mind to notice that the teacher was calling him.

Teacher: STERLING!

Jake finally snapped out of it.

Jake: Oh uh y-yes, ma'am!?

Teacher: Are you planning on paying attention? Or are you way too distracted staring at Hailey?

Hailey was surprised that she was mentioned, she didn't realize Jake was staring at her the whole time. She looked at what was happening.

Hailey's P.O.V:
Wait! What? Ugh did the teacher really have to mention my name to this, this is THEIR problem, I shouldn't be brought up, I already have enough problems. As for Jake who apperantly has been staring at me, (sigh) what am I gonna do? The whole club is mad at Jake but, it's too late to change plans, Jake was gonna be the singer, he's the only reason why people got interested in the competition. (sigh) Whatever, I'll try to find a way to make our performance perfect, even without Jake, I'm the president of the club after all, I can do this... right?

Jake: I'm sorry, miss, I-I'll pay attention, there's just a lot of things going through my mind.

Teacher: Good, and please don't let your thoughts get in the way of you learning.

Jake: Yes, miss, sorry.

Teacher: Anyway, as I was trying to say...

Jake's P.O.V:
That was embarrassing, Hailey seemed pretty upset when I noticed her looking at me. I really gotta pay more attention, don't want that to happen again.

Meanwhile at the other classroom where Sean's in. Sean also seems to be having problems keeping his mind from thinking.

Sean's P.O.V:
I wonder how the others are holding up, I hope they aren't gonna get into more problems, I mean it is kinda awkward since they're in the same classroom. The biggest problem is who will sing at the competition? We just perfected our performance, isn't it too late to change plans? I guess I'll find out soon enough.
