The Competition

It's going to be a big day today! Jake and his music club friends are finally gonna perform at the competition. They've been getting ready for this day, and it has been a bumpy ride and a rollercoaster of emotions, but we got here safely.

*Phone alarm rings*

Jake's P.O.V:
(yawns)... Oh my gosh... Why did I put an alarm again?... OH MY GOSH! Today is the competition! I have to get ready, don't wanna be late for the big day!

Jake stood up from his bed immediately. He ran straight to the kitchen as he grabs himself a to go breakfast. After that, he went straight to the bathroom and got ready. At last, he's done.

As he was putting his stuff in his bag, he hears the sound of his phone notification. He looked at what the notification was, and would you look at that, it's his officially new boyfriend, Sean.

Message Sean: Good morning, sweetheart <3

Message Jake: Oh, so we're doing that now? haha

Message Sean: Of course.

Message Jake: Well then, sweetheart, I was just about to leave to go to school.

Message Sean: I'll walk you to school.

Message Jake: That's really sweet of you but, I don't think I have time to wait for you to get here, we're gonna be late if we do that.

Message Sean: Who says anything about waiting?

Message Jake: Huh?

Message Sean: Look outside.

Jake walked down stairs and to the front door. As he opens the door, he was surprised to see Sean waiting for him there.

Jake: Sean?!

Sean: Hey, Jake! Why so surprised? (giggles)

Jake: I didn't expect you to be here... But I'm happy that you are.

He ran closer to Sean as Jake gives him a big hug. Sean hugged back.

Sean: I missed you.

Sean says with a soft voice.

Jake: We were literally together last night. (giggles)

Sean: (smiles) I know, but that wasn't enough, I was thinking of you all night.

Sean gives Jake a kiss in the forehead which causes the peach haired boy to turn light red.

Jake: (chuckles) Whatever, let's go before we get late.

Jake says as he lets go of the hug.

Sean: As you wish, my prince.

He says with a playful voice.

They held each other by the hand as they walk towards their destination.

After a while of walking, they finally reached the school where the competition is taking place.

As they walk inside the school, Hailey and the others noticed them.

Hailey: Hey guys! Over here!

The couple heard Hailey's voice and rushed towards them.

Zander: Good thing you aren't late peach boy.

Jake: Well, wouldn't wanna be late on the big day.

Milly: Usually Sean is the first one to arrive then Jake. Why are you two together?

Jake: We- uh-

Zander: It doesn't matter, Milly, as long as they're not late.

Milly: Okay, okay, jeez.
