7:45 p.m.

Benny, Ethan, and I were all under a science desk on our hands and knees. Cautiously watching through the sliver of window on the door for any threat that may bust into the room. " Oh, man! Why couldn't we be at home? Watching So You Think You Can Fly? Eating a triple-meat lover's pizza. With extra meat." Benny said with a distressed expression and looking between Ethan and I.

" Yeah! Instead out teachers could bash in here any second and scoop out our brains like chip dip." Ethan quaked. A loud bang came from from somewhere in the surrounding halls of the school. I gulp and reached over grabbing onto Benny's hand.

" Think we could outrun them?" Benny asked.

" I don't have to outrun them. I just have to outrun you." Ethan stated, his voice shaking.

Benny sent a glare Ethan's way, " You know? I think they'd go for your brain first there, 'Honor Roll'." Benny spat. Loud consecuative bangs came from the door making us all flinch and look it's way. Through the small window zombies were looking directly to us and trying to break down the door.

" Where is Sarah? We could really use her help right now." I say subconciously gripping to Benny's hand tighter.

" I don't think she was in a very helping mood today." Benny recalled.

9 1/2 hours earlier --- 9:15 a.m.

I leaned against the lockers with an amused smile as Sarah lectured the two boys in front of her. " I'm not breaking any arms or smashing anyone through a wall just because he called you... What was it?" She pondered.

" 'Teethan'," Ethan said half-heartedly.

" 'Benny Rabbit'," Benny said sadly. Sarah and I glance at each other and are both trying to hide our small giggles. " It's not what he says, it's how he says it." Benny said through gritted teeth.

" Let's go, boys and Ms. Wilson," Our chem teacher called out at the door holding a cup of LottaLatte coffee inn one hand.

" We'll be right with you, sir." I said giving him a small nod of acknowledgement.

" If we're not there in 5 minutes, start boring kids without us!" Benny said trying to joke with the teacher. He just rolled his eyes and turned away from us and taking a sip of the coffee.

Ethan chuckled nervously, " We'll be right there, sir." Ethan assurinngly to our teacher.

" Forget it! Look, I have a field trip to the art gallery. Lucky me!" Sarah said sarcastically and dropping her hands over dramatically to her sides. " I'll see you later, MJ." Sarah said giving me a lightly hit to my arm, I nodded and gave her a small wave. She looked to the boys with a small smirk on her face, "  Later 'Teethan', 'Benny Rabbit'," She teased before walking away down the hall.

" Sounds cute when she says it," Ethan confessed with a small smile as he watched her walk away. Benny and I looked to each other with knowing looks on faces.

9 1/2 hours later --- 7:48 p.m.

" Oh! We're so dead!" Benny whimpered. " Why couldn't we get some kinda sign that this was going to happen?"

" Just a hint would have been nice," Ethan added.

I turned to looked at them, my eyebrows knitted together confused, " Really? They were acting different all day!" I exclaim

9:16 a.m.

The boys and I walked into the chemistry room and taking our seats. The teacher picked up a piece of  chalk and started to lazily write on the board, " Bromine...Aluminum...Nitrogen... Brain~" He dragged out and underlinging his messy sentence of elements. " Brain~"
