Jim

IAB Detectives entered with a long blonde hair blue eyed girl.

"I ain't telling you nothing."

"Uh-huh."

They put her in a holding cell.

"Erin doesn't wanna cooperate."

"You put a domestic violence victim in a holding cell?! Are you kidding me right now?!" Ramirez yelled at them.

"Relax. I'm handling it, Ramirez."

"We both know Kevin is crazy enough to hit Erin around, Lieutenant."

"Apparently, she says he should be charged with Attempted Murder."

"Let me try to talk to her. She's tried to talk to me before but Kevin pulled her away. Maybe that's what it was about."

"Alright. She is stubborn. That is for sure."

They walked away together to get Erin.

"Are you kidding me right now? They put a domestic violence victim in a holding cell, Lieutenant."

"I know. Let me handle this, alright? I'll get it cleared up."

"Kevin is crazy enough to put his hands on his Wife. We both know that. No matter how much he might love her in his mind. In her mind, it's over. It's all over."

"Yeah. That's the part I have to reach. Know he can't hurt her anymore."

"You can't guarantee that, Lieutenant. Kevin has access to weapons because of his father-in-law."

Erin

The IAB Detectives put me in an interrogation room.

They walked out.

Jim walked in.

"I'm so sorry that they put you in the holding cell. It was a complete misunderstanding on their part to do that."

He sat across from me.

"We all know Kevin is crazy enough to put his hands on his Wife. No matter how much he might love you in his mind."

"Somebody that will believe me."

"So, why don't you tell me what happened, Erin?"

"I can't."

"Kevin can't hurt you. I promise."

"No, you don't understand. My father has a collection of guns."

"I know. I will put a Police detail on you. They will go wherever you go. Whether it's Boston or Southport. It'll be their job to protect you from Kevin. But you have to talk to me. You have to tell me what happened."

"Okay."

"I do have to record it for the DA, okay?"

"Okay."

Jim set up the camera.

"Um... I had made a Cherry pie. Kevin got home early that day. Um... He gave me a necklace as an apology for hitting me a few nights before."

He nodded his head to show he was listening.

"Um... We ate. I cleaned up the dishes after finishing also taking the Wine to the Kitchen. I thought he was done with it. He asked if I thought he was done with it. I walked back into the Dining Room with the Wine bottle. I poured more Wine into his Wine glass. I put the Wine on the cart in the Dining Room. He told me if I had something to say to say it. I told him I had nothing to say when of course I did. He got mad that I lied to him and broke the Wine glass."
