It was a normal, sunny day in Ninjago city, somewhere around 18:00 PM. Ninjas were at the monastery, as usual playing videogames, to give respect to the 'old times' as they so hard claim.
Nya on the other hand was fixing some old things with Pixal, and Lloyd was sitting with Wu outside of the view.

Everything was going so well and fine that everyone thought it was weird. No crime, no new or old villains, and overall, no Garmadon.

It's been quite a few years since he passed.

Lloyd was still on about it, some say he moved on, some he didn't, but the truth is that as long as noone mentions his father's name or legacy, he is fine.

It's been a year since the trouble with the time twins, Krux and Acronix. Finale battle went well, Wu was able to bring Kai and Nya back and trap the twins in time. The Smiths parents Ray and Maya left to their land, to re-open their shop of four weapons.

Something that everyone noticed after the finale battle, that everyone kind of changed.

Especially Lloyd.

He turned from a thirteen year-old into a sixteen year-old in the past year.

The ninjas can't say he grew more responsible now, because he always was. But something everyone could notice, is he's quiet appearance and less talkative personality. Everyone says he became naïve and rude, but the truth is- Lloyd is just confused and lost.

He isn't proud, he isn't brave, he keeps saying to himself.

All the problems he had when he was younger, he proceed to ignore and hide, but now he can't.

They are like scars, still fresh and bleeding.

Another thing, he lost the connection with Kai that he had. But to be honest he doesn't talk with anyone but only when there is something important.

"Tell me Lloyd," the man turned to the boy.

"Yes, sensei?" boy shot up.

"What is on your mind that keeps holding you back from your feelings?"
Man pointed, taking another sip of his hot tea.

Blond stayed quiet for a moment.

"I don't know what you are talking about, sensei."
He murmured.

Wu sigh.

"Once you complained to me about becoming a sensei, that they woun't listening to you,"
Wu got up from his seat.

Lloyd's eyes followed with him.

"But I think your the one that's not listening."

Wu began filling up his empty tea cup, with the fresh, hot green tea. When he filled it, he found a new sitting spot near the window. He took a sip of his tea, glancing at the view outside.

"But sensei,"Lloyd shot up"I am ready, I do listen! They are to blame, they see me as a child!" He pleaded.

"-That you are."
Wu finished.
