.It was Sunday afternoon, a pretty chill day. Unlike usual Sundays, there was no crime today- pretty weird, right? It was September and autumn was getting closer by each passing day. The weather changed- wind was always blowing, rain was common, and sun was setting around 18:00 PM.
This Sunday was really unusual.
It wasn't raining, to begin with. And as mentioned: no crime alerts.
And no ninja at the monastery.
They all left it earlier that day to go and hang out around the city. They all could use a little time for themselves, they have been working hard for the past weeks.
They all decided, even Wu, that they should spend the day outside the walls of the monastery- but that wasn't kept for long.
Lloyd was at the monastery, all alone.
Nobody would allow him to stay, if they knew, somebody would have taken him with them, but Lloyd knew that so he lied.
He told the ninjas that he had somewhere to be, but that was all made up.He didn't have to go anywhere. Why would anyone need him? When there isn't crime, he is no longer needed.
And so, he was all alone at the monastery.
He was laying on his bed, scrolling through his phone. It was so annoying- the comments.
Morro and he were now the main topic of the Ninjago gossip. Like people didn't have anything better to do, or talk about, so they kept commenting about 'their relationship'.
Lloyd tried to ignore it- it was the only thing he could do. And he did. But the comments just kept coming, there were billions of them.
He kept scrolling, barely keeping his focus on the phone. He tried his best to keep his eyes open. He was tired- didn't get much sleep last night.
He got tired, so he tossed his phone aside, throwing it harshly on the bed.
He stared at the spot it landed on.
He imagines Morro laying there-beside him on the bed. He could practically hear him laughing at his foolishness.
What was this feeling he is feeling towards Morro? This warmth... Was it only in the friendly way? He did think is Kai warmly- they've been best friends for years. But he knows that he lost that bond with Kai long ago. Anyways, he felt something more towards Morro- more than just friendship. He needed him next to himself. Even how much he hated the idea, he wanted his presence. He wanted to look into his greyish eyes. And to smile. For no reason. Just to smile. It made him feel warm. He wanted needed that right now.
So he rolled onto his stomach, once again grabbing his phone and dialling Morros number. He places the phone close to his ear, and waits for Morro to pick up.
"Hello?"
A voice echoed."Hey.."
Lloyd said."Hi, blondie."
Lloyd sighed.
"Can you come back home?"
Lloyd hesitated, but asked.
