POV: Olyesa

Surprisingly enough, Lannis wasn't lying about studying the layout of Beacon. Finding a bench on its own isn't hard at all but on the way, he rambled on about what I couldn't see. I was a bit grateful because I was curious, he seemed to be extremely happy that he had finally made it here. I didn't have the same excitement about this place as him though, I saw making it to Beacon as a final confirmation of our fate. We're all going to spend years of our life here and by the time most of us will branch out to do other things we'll be adults.

Although, I keep saying 'we' as if I'm a part of this experience that all these other students will undergo. At the end of the day, I'm only here to get what I want, and that's to evolve my semblance. I hope to see once again, as soon as I do that I'll leave. I don't plan on seeing any of this through, becoming a professional huntress is not essential to me. Only the bare minimum interests me, that's why I mustn't become attached.

Whether it be this school, my peers, or just anything that I experience while I attend Beacon. All that matters is that I remain true to my ideals and remain distant while simultaneously seeming normal. Having just one 'friend' will make my appearance a lot more believable. So although I find him a bit annoying, I'll have to use Lannis to complete my social profile. No one else is necessary.

After Lannis guided me to the bench along with his nonsensical rambling I was able to convince him that he didn't need to be around me while I remained seated. I told him to just come back and grab me when it was time to report inside for the ceremony. So with him gone, I was finally able to enjoy some peace. Until I wasn't.

POV: ???

I couldn't believe that I was standing on the same grounds that Beacon was built upon, I've been training for years to get here and I was finally here. The place where I'll show how far I've come and then I'll learn even more things that will help me become a great huntress. I'll get to make some new friends as well so it's all just going to be so much fun.

On the airship, the people I ended up conversating with were actually really nice but we all went our separate ways when we landed. They didn't make any comments on my . . . wow.

Everything I was thinking about was completely disrupted when I played my eyes on one of the most stunning girls I've ever seen in my life. She was absolutely beautiful, with long luscious white hair that kinda made her look like a granny. But a really pretty one, her dress was so cute as well. I wouldn't be surprised if that's something she got for a party not too long ago. It seems a bit dirty near her legs though, she must've fallen or tripped over something.

And that would make a lot of sense because she had a blindfold over her eyes, I started to wonder if she was cosplaying a character whose name I couldn't quite remember at that exact moment. Then my curiosity got the better of me like it always does, so much that I made my way over to the girl. And once I was close enough, I was able to see the walking cane she had resting on the bench right beside her.

This shut down my idea of her being a cosplayer but I was carefully observing this girl who didn't seem to notice me at all. I prepared myself with some pep talk before eventually taking a deep breath so that I could greet a possible new friend.

"Heyo! I noticed you were sitting all by yourself, would you mind if I sat with you? I promise to make it worth your time so what do you say?"

That sounded pretty solid in my head and even better when it left my lips but the reaction I got, was not the one I was expecting. The girl basically jumped like a frog, I saw shivers flow threw her entire body. She tried to hide it but she was clearly startled to a point of no return. I think I saw her get up off her seat which made me feel pretty bad but then again her recovery was absolutely stellar. She sat back down at what seemed like light speed, before using a fist that was quickly formed to cover her cough.
