(I'm gonna be honest I don't remember if Don and Gilda went into mom's office twice or not but we are just gonna say they were scouting it at first. Cause I need this to work but can't delete the other part since it might confuse others. So ya <3)

The key to the attic was your goal. but what if it was nothing? You were worried that it would be all for nothing. Never the less, you had to see. It could help.

You were walking down the hallway, lost in your thoughts. You noticed Don purposefully bump into mom. You watched how he stumbled but he had grabbed something it looked like. Was that a key? You froze.

He ran around the corner. You turned and peered around the corner that he just went around. On the other side of the wall was Gilda. Gilda looked like she had been waiting been there. Don opened his hand to reveal the gold key he had stole.

Bingo. That was your way in.

You followed the two who were waiting to enter mom's office. They hid around a corner while you hid around the next.

"Coast clear?" Gilda asked in a whisper.

"Clear." Don confirmed as he slyly moved around the corner.

Gilda followed with her hands to her chest as if that would make her quieter. You followed as quietly as you could from behind. You were only a few feet away from Gilda. They opened mom's office door. They tried to open the door as little as possible just so they could slide through.

They were about to close the door behind them. You grabbed onto the inside of the door to keep it open. You now joined them in the room. They both looked startled by you.

"Y/n, w-what are you doing here?" Gilda asked nervously with a subtle stutter.

"Don't worry about it. I won't tell the three of them." You winked as you closed the door behind them softly.

Don took in a deep breath, puffing his chest. He nodded. They both went to uncover the secret door.

You went around the room. You looked on tables, under chairs and under the rug. Nothing. You then made your way, carefully, over to mom's desk. You were afraid what you could possibly find there.

You opened the drawers. You were messily looking through them. Nothing in the top drawer. You shut that one. You proceeded to the next. Then the next. Then the next.. Then to the right side.. Then the next.

You opened the last drawer, searched it, and still nothing? You were getting frustrated. Had you just not looked hard enough? Wait a second. The length of this drawer on the outside doesn't match up to the inside? You thought. it didn't have that much space to what it was presenting on the outside.

You removed what was in the drawer, putting it on the floor for now. There was a small sliding door on the inside of the drawer. You slid it open. There was the key.

"Yes!" You quietly said in victory.

You picked up the key. You placed it in your skirt pocket. You then slid the little door closed. You put everything back how it was.

Now it was time to get the hell out of there.

You swiftly walked across the room back to the door you came through. You heard footsteps. Shit. Shit. Shit. You ran back across the room on your tip toes to reduce noise.

You craweled under the desk. Into the empty middle hollow part where one would place their feet. You covered your mouth to muffle your breathing.

You heard voices enter the room. It was mom. Don and Gilda were still in the secret room. They had the better set up but you were dead if you were found. And you were the easy one to find too.
