Kageyama One Shots

Yachi gave a sharp intake of breath as the feeling of sharp needles stabbing viciously through her stomach erupted in her. Next to her, clad in silky blue pyjamas that matched her pink ones, Kiyoko glanced over at her from her hushed conversation with Mai, Date Tech's manager.

The blonde-haired girl whimpered as pain flared in her stomach, a stark contrast to the content happy feeling she had been feeling only minutes ago. Yachi grunted, pressing her hands against her stomach before standing up abruptly.

This caught the attention of the other seven girls plus Kageyama, who had somehow been adopted into the managers despite Karasuno already having two representatives.

Immediately she ran past Kaori who had been the closest to the door and rushed to the bathroom, upon reaching directly emptying out the contents of her stomach. Distantly she felt a large hand begin to rub her back, the other supporting her abdomen as she finished spewing out the last of her dinner.

She whimpered again, tears clouding her vision as white-hot pain seared through her body.

She didn't notice as the hand on her back slowly helped her stand. She didn't notice as a new person took her gently and wiped her mouth.

She didn't notice as she was led over to the sitting room and laid on the lap of a certain black-haired Kanagawa manager.

Her cloudy mind refused to register the soft lullaby being sung to her at the dead hour of 3:53 in the morning.

Eventually, she did fall asleep, tears on her soft chubby cheeks and an odd oozing feeling in her thighs.

"She's asleep." Hana whispered carefully, mindful not to wake the resting girl.

The short-haired brunette slowly brought her finger up and stroked Yachi's cheek, wiping away a sorrowful tear.

"What do you think happened?" Eri asked, cautiously moving the 1st year on her lap.

"I think she's on her period," Kageyama said bluntly, causing Runa to turn red.

"Tobii." she whined. "No matter what, you never ask a woman if she's on her period. It's not that it's embarrassing but it can be rude. "

Kageyama's cheeks turned pink as he looked down. "Sorry." he mumbled.

Kiyoko nodded at him.

"Maybe. It's just that normally when Hitoka is on her period, she doesn't get any symptoms. Like, at all. The mild headache at most. I don't think that she's ever gotten to the point where she vomited."

"But what else could it be." He argued back. "It's the Saturday of the second week of the month, which is the day and week in which her period usually starts. Plus, I think the reason it happened now at like 4 am is 'cause cramps and stuff only start about 4 h before you wake up which would be now and we were still up so that might be why she feels it now."

"Wait wait wait." Yukie raised her hands in a time out motion. "Why do you know when her period starts and ends. And how do you know so much about periods in general."

Kageyama gave a wry smile. "Whenever Miwa-nee-san is on her period, she does not shut up. She keeps complaining about how lucky I am to be a boy and not have to deal with the cycle. I've learnt quite a bit from her, though it is slightly concerning as to how much research she puts into things like this."

"Okay, but what do you mean by Yachi getting her period without cramps. Like bro, how does that work?" Kaori asked, looking mildly jealous.

Kiyoko shrugged. "It is what it is."

Kaori rolled her eyes, a bit miffed.

"You know, it's funny how our first conclusion was that she's on her period. She just vomited so it's probably that." Runa commented.

Eri shook her head. "Nah i'm pretty sure she is on her period. To be honest this is what happened to me. From 11 to like 14 whenever I had my period I was cramp-free. And then suddenly when I was like 15 or something, boom. Explosion. Fire. I swear it hurt so dam bad. I think that's what's up with her."

"I think Miyanoshita-san is-" "I told you! Call me eri!"

Kageyama huffed as he corrected himself. "As I was saying, I think Eri-san is right."

Mai hummed.

"I mean, does it really matter why it is? No matter what, we have to help her through it."

Hana nodded.

"Girls in a pack of boys." she mused, a smirk building its way on her face. "Us managers have to stay together don't we?"

Kay so this one was a bit of a hassle

Its my first haikyuu only fic and im not sure how to feel about it. Please give me feedback and ways to make it better. My fav character is kageyama though this might be a bit more yachi centric. Eh, either way im open (and esperate) for requests sooo. Yea.
