"Fawn? I thought your name was Ila."

"It is, but the people I've grown up call me Fawn. And you are?" I asked.

"Taehyungies girlfriend." She gave.

I looked at him.

"Wow. You couldn't have told me beforehand? I would've loved to make her something, or get her some kind of gift." He sighed.

"I didn't want to spoil the suprise of me showing up."

I rolled my eyes and turned towards the girl.

"It's very nice to meet you . . ."

"Just call me Jay." She said.

"Jay, it's very nice to meet you." I looked over at Jennie.

"Jen I've gota shift to cover, I might be out later tonight." She nodded and gave me a small smile.

"Job, you're still working there?" Tae asked.

"Yup." My answer was short to show my disappointment with him. We always shared everything.

"Fawn-"

"I'm just gonna drop my bag in your room Jihyun." I dropped my bag on his floor and headed to the front door.

My phone lit up, 'Yoongs'

'You good?'

I texted back closing the door behind me.

'Yea, all good.'

And that was that.

Once at work, I started handing out drinks and food, taking orders, and even covering the register.

Time went by quick, flying by in what seemed like a second. Everyone went by with a blurr effect on their features.

By the time I was done and helped clean up, I walked outside into the crisp night air.

Opening my phone, I saw the chat from Yoongi and I still open, and called him.

"Ila?"

"Okay, I'm not fine. I mean I am, but I'm not." I took in a breath for my rant.

I heard shuffling in the background.

"Okay, shoot."

"I mean I grew up with this guy! He kept the bullies away from Jihyun and Jimin, made them more confident, made me more confident. He knows every detail of my life. We shared everything. Everything! And then he leaves for a year, which I understand, I help, I encourage. And then out of nowhere shows up with some girl! And she looks so good with him, and she seemed so great in the span of five seconds. And I'm happy for him. Really, I am. But how could he leave us, leave me. . . and then decide to show with someone else. He couldn't give us just one day? One night? One hour of his time to us? For us to catch up?"

I sighed.

"He missed you. He brought her with him because he hoped to get everything layed out."

"Layed out?"

"When you two broke up, it broke him as well. He always felt guilty for moping around. So by bringing her, he wanted it to be a sign of peace. You two kept you relationship private. From everyone. We had to catch you two to find out. And even then, you two were extremely closed of on the romantic aspect of your relationship. It's not to piss you off, or make you upset in any type of way, but to show you he still want you involved in his life. And if I'm understanding correctly, you two were eachother's firsts firsts. He's trying to open up and not be awkward. Keep you in the loop."

"I'm over him. It looked like he thought the breakup was mutual. We talked about it."

"He loved you more than anything. And he still does, just not in a romantic way anymore. He needed to realise that he could be out there. Even though you gave your blessings, he always valued and treasured your friendship."

"Did he every tell you guys about our tattoos?" I asked meekly.

"Now this is something I never thought I'd have to ask, but did you two actually get couple tattoos?" He asked, sound mildly impressed and slightly stunned.

"Kind of, more like friendship ones. Right on our hips. It's just a little dragonfly. If one lands on you it mean you're blessed. Him and I got them after we broke up. That even though we were no longer romantically involved, we were still blessed to have found eachother in the storm. Literally, we met in a storm. I introduced him to the boys."

I heard him laugh on the line, "No way, really?"

"Yea. I need to meet his girlfriend though. For real this time, maybe I'll take her out or something?" I heard him give a little hum of approval.

"Yea, you should. She seemed very sweet. I left after you did." He said.

"Ah hold up, someone else is calling. Gotta go Yoongs."

"Alright, be safe and shoot me a message when you get back."

"Will do, bye."

"Hi?" I asked.

"Fawn?" I held my breath at the sound of his voice.

"Yea?"

"I'm almost to your work. We need to talk."
