Evers POV

It's been a few days since I last saw or talked to Demi. They've been busy working on their new album and I've been busy working. I've only hungout with them twice, is it sad that I miss talking to them? I wanna text them but at the same time I don't want to bother them. Ugh life is complicated.

Today is Wednesday. I work Sunday through Wednesday and then have three days off. It's a great reward for working 10hr days. I can't wait to just sleep in a little bit and relax tomorrow. I have my last game before the finals on Saturday and I'm so pumped. The coach is letting me pitch this game. I usually pitch but there are times when I either play first or second base. I don't mind switching it up, it keeps things fun for me.

It's only 1:30p.m. and I'm ready for this day to end. I'm a stower and I'm strapped into a harness all day on a machine called the PIT. I drive the PIT with a cage attached to the back that is filled with product that has to be stowed into the aisles. Once the cage is empty, you circle around and pick up a new cage and do that till you leave. I'm currently in one of the aisles for bigger product, trying to stow a huge ass item that I can't even wrap my arms completely around. This shouldnt be able to be stowed without a team lift, but whatever. I held on and kept backing up as far as I could go, which was to the edge of the machine and I still couldnt get the item into the bin. I could almost if I had a little more room. So, I bent backwards to lift the item up more and just as I finally got it, the back of my head hit the metal railing of the other side of the aisle bins. I ignored it and pushed the item into the bin and scanned the bin to complete the stow.

I tried to continue to work but the back of my head kept hurting and I started to feel a little dizzy. Instead of taking a risk, I should probably go see the safety team. I dropped the PIT to the right level and moved out of the aisle and went to go park. After I unstrapped myself and told my boss where I was going, I went to the safety area.

"What's going on Ever?" asked Dominique, one of the safety people.

"Hey, I was wondering if I could get some ice for my head. I hit the back of it in the aisle while I was stowing" I said.

Dominique went and got the icepack for me and I gave her more details so she could fill out the accident report. After 15 minutes, she asked me how I was doing.

"It hurts less but I still feel dizzy and a little nauseous" I say.

"Ever, you might have a concussion. You need to go to the doctors immediately" she said.

"But-" I started.

"No buts. Look youll get paid for the rest of the day, just bring in a doctors note ok. I'll call your boss and tell them whats going on. Now go" Dominique said.

"Fine" I mumbled as I went to go get my things and leave. Once I got outside, I decided to call Letty to come get me.

"Ever, shouldn't you be working?" Letty asked as she picked up.

"Yeah, but I hit the back of my head while I was working and safety thinks I could have a concussion. Can you come get me and take me to urgent care?" I asked.

"Yeah, no problem. I'll be there in 5" she said and then hung up. This is going to be such a fun afternoon I thought. Note the sarcasm.

Demis POV

The past few days have been so busy in the studio, I haven't had the chance to do anything besides go home and crash. This also means, I haven't even been able to talk to Ever. I wonder how shes doing and what she's been up to. Maybe I can call her in a few hours when I get a break and-

"Demi are you focused? We need to finish up this track so we can work on the next song" Oak asked me through the mic.

"Yeah, Im focused. Let's continue" I said and we got back to work.
