Chapter 16: Girlfriend?

Edward's P.O.V.

I wanted to make the date not too sophisticated like last time but at the same time, I want it to be like hangout. Something simple because last time, I didn't sleep well for 6 days.

After the kiss in the park, we went to talk a lot and I got to know Alison better. Her favorite color is red, favorite movie is Saw, she doesn't care what people think, she loves yogurt, she is a potter head (fan of Harry Potter), she likes school or simply academics, she likes George Clooney and she likes very corny jokes. That's what I know about her now.

For the date, I wore a simple attire (outfit in the beginning, remove the hat). I fixed my hair and I had to fetch Alison now so I asked my mom if I could use her car. I drove to Alison's house and after 5 minutes I arrived there.

Alison's P.O.V

After the kiss, we went around the park and we talked a lot. We were familiar with each other more. We knew each other more, it felt like we were childhood friends.

I told him things about me and he told things about him. His favorite color is yellow, favorite movie is Romeo and Juliet (original), he is sort of a popular, he can literally eat anything, he is a fan of any cheesy romantic film or a chick-flick, he likes to have fun and just hangout all day, he doesn't really like any celebrity and he says a lot of corny jokes and they're hilarious. He calls me Ally which is short for Alison but I find it cute.

He told me to dress casual to the date so I'm thinking we're going to the movies or something. I wore something that's really comfy but it looks a little decent (outfit in the beginning, remove the hat). I jut applied loose curls and I added a little bit of make up. I applied lip gloss and clear mascara. He told me that he would fetch me. Right now, it was 5:57 so I guess he'll be fetching me at six.

I heard the beep of the car and my parents weren't home but I texted that I was going with a friend. I said friends because I don't know if we're official yet. My siblings (chapter 10) are with my cousins. I did one last look in the mirror and went downstairs. I went outside and I saw Edward leaning on his car and dressed casual. I walked towards him and he looked at me. His jaw dropped and I took a step closer to him.

"Close your mouth, you might catch flies." I said. He snapped back to reality and I laughed at him.

"I can't help it, you're drop dead gorgeous." He said. I blushed and looked down. He smiled and I smiled back.

"See, I made you blush." He said and I blushed even more. I was as red as a tomato by now.

He opened the door for me and acted like a gentlemen. He went in the car and started driving. We were playing the radio but we weren't talking. It was really awkward but I guess we just had nothing to say. He was driving with one hand and he held my hand. I can't help but blush and I look at him. He smiles and I smile back. He looks back on the road and I look outside the window.

When we got there, he opened my door and took my hand. He turned around and saw that he took us to movies. After deciding what to watch, we decided to watch "The Best of Me" which was a cheesy romance movie.

We bought the tickets a little late so the only row available was the farthest from the screen. We bought popcorn and iced tea first before we went in the theatre to watch the movie.

So far, the movie was really good and we were in the part when it was their first date. I put my hand in the popcorn only to figure out that I touched Edward's hand. He looked at me and I looked at me. We got caught in each other's gaze and the only thing I was paying attention to was Edward. He slowly started to lean in and I did too. We pressed our lips together. It wasn't just a kiss, it was something more. There was passion behind it and I think I just fell in love. It was special because when we kissed, the characters in the movie kissed the same time. When we pulled away, we smiled at each other. He intertwined our hands and I leaned on his shoulder and nuzzled up to his chest. He leaned on my head and pulled me closer. I'm starting to think that my life is a movie. Things go wrong but they end right and if it doesn't, you can change the ending.

When we finished the movie, we went to have dinner. It was 8:00 om it was late and almost everything was closed so we just decided to have yogurt. We were talking about random stuff until he asked me a question.

"Sorry if you're hungry, I didn't plan this date well." He said.

"It's okay, I love yogurt anyways." I said as I grabbed his hand and intertwined it with mine. He smiled and I smiled back.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I almost choked on my yogurt because I didn't expect him to ask that now.

"No" I replied, leaving him with a shocked face. I decided to mess with him a little bit.

"But why not?!?!?!?!?!" He said as he raised his voice. His face was really funny.

"Not to be picky or anything but when you ask me to be girlfriend. Make it memorable." I said while making an emphasis on 'memorable'. He bit his lip and started thinking. It's cute on how much he's thinking to make this moment memorable. He stopped eating and then he stood up.

"Alright, just wait" He said as he walked to the cashier.

He talked to the cashier and I couldn't hear what they're were talking about. She nodded so I think that he asked her a question. He stood on the counter.

"Excuse me everyone, may I have your attention?" He asked. Everyone started looking at him. This is really weird for me. People must be thinking that he's crazy.

"So today, I'm with the most beautiful girl in the world. She makes me feel special. People keep telling me that love would just come to you and it did. I love her with all my heart and I only knew now. I love you Alison. Would you be my girlfriend?" He said. By now, he is right in front of me. Everyone is starting to look at us. It was cute on how he did that and everyone was looking at me, expecting me to say yes. I went closer to him until I was right in front of him.

"Yes" I said then I kissed him. He was shocked but he kissed me back. We both smiled in the kiss and it lasted for like 10 seconds. We heard a couple of "aww" and "eww" from the store. It made me laugh on how people are reacting to this.

We pulled away then walked out of the store. We were walking around the park while our hands were intertwined. We walked in silence but it wasn't awkward. It was more of enjoying each other's presence.

"Why did you do that?" I asked looking at him. He looked at me.

"Don't tell me that you didn't want it to happen." He said.

"But I thought you would plan a date and asked me then." I said.

"I know but I couldn't wait to call you finally mine." He said and I blushed.

"Looks like we're here." He said as were infront of my door.

"Yeah....." I said. It made it more awkward for us.

"So see you later, alligator." He said.

"See you in a while, crocodile." I said.

"You know that could be our 'always'. He said and I knew he was referring to the "Fault in our Stars"

"Yeah it could be." I said.

"Bye." He said as he walked away and waved.

"Bye." I said and waved before I closed the door.

I kissed Edward 3 times today. Wow!
